Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)
The moment you enter our elegant 1,500 square foot condo in the beautiful La Casa Que Ve al Mar complex, you will experience the peace, tranquility and cool whiteness that is represented in by its name. And then you will be in awe at the gorgeous, 180-degree view of Zihuatenejo Bay and famous Playa del Ropa from every room.
The sense throughout is one of cooling breezes, light and openness. The living room, kitchen and dining are Open Air. No doors or screens to the out of doors. All of the floors are smooth white marble slabs outlined in sand-washed pebbles, with smooth white walls. This is the perfect backdrop for the bright spots of color in pillows and decor drawn from a magnificent painting by a well-known Guatemalan artist that is the focal point of the greatroom.
The living area features a huge built-in banquet where you can lounge, listen to music or simply gaze at the Pacific. It flows into the spacious covered terrace, surrounded by exotically-colored bougainvilleas, graced with lounge chairs and a marble-topped dining table. You will spend hours here-- reading, having a lovely al fresco lunch, enjoying a sunset margarita or just listening to the soothing shoosing of the ocean.
Both bedrooms feature comfy queen beds, luxury sheets and towels and exquisite embroidered Guatemalan bedspreads and pillows. The master suite has its own very private covered terrace graced with palms and bougainvillea.
From both bedrooms, you can lie in bed, sipping your coffee, and watch the sky color with sunrise. Since both bedrooms open onto the living space through sliding glass doors (with privacy curtains) and have windows overlooking the ocean, they are flooded with light and breezes (the master also has a sliding glass door onto its terrace).
Both bedrooms have large bright en-suite bathrooms, with walk-in showers, also with marble and pebble floors. And, you do not need to bring a hairdryer.
The kitchen flows into the living area, allowing the cook to chat with whoever is hanging out at the adjoining breakfast bar. If you decide to stay home and cook a bit instead of enjoying the wonderful restaurants within an easy walk—from sand-floored palapas to elegant 5-stars—you will have everything you need.
The kitchen includes new appliances including a four-burner range, a microwave, coffee maker, blender, juicer, toaster oven and a full-sized refrigerator. There is a water purifier with two filters and an ultraviolet light at the kitchen sink for the cleanest water possible. The stacked washer and dryer are conveniently just off the kitchen.
Our adorable maid Yolanda will come twice each week while you are there. She will clean and do your laundry or send it out if you wish. She often stops by just to make sure that everything’s OK and to water the plants.
At Casa Blanca, you will always stay cool. Because of its orientation, you will never be blasted by the sun or have to close the drapes to stay cool in our unit. If you wish for more than the constant breezes, all of the rooms have large ceiling fans and the bedrooms have air conditioning. For your entertainment, the casa has cable/satellite TV with a wide selection of US premium cable channels and a stereo with a 5-CD player.
Casa Blanca is on the terrace level of Que Ve al Mar. It is easily accessible by a ramp, so it’s perfect for anyone with mobility constraints, and you will never have to lug anything into the elevator or up steps. The unit is well above ground level and therefore secure. The two gorgeous infinity pools are just a moment’s walk away.
Que Ve al Mar was created by the world-famous architect Enrique Zozoya, who designed the nearby La Casa que Canta, which has graced the cover of Conde Naste Traveler and been voted one of the best small luxury hotels in the world. Like La Casa que Canta, La Casa Que Ve al Mar boasts spectacular views from its hillside location, lush landscaping and privacy, yet it is a gentle 5-minute downhill walk to Playa del Ropa. And, with only 42 units, the complex is intimate and quiet yet affords ample privacy.
There is wireless internet in the condo. The unit includes one covered parking spot. To assure your serenity, access to the complex is through a gate that is manned 24-hours, with another guard who walks the grounds around the clock. And, the bilingual staff will assure that your stay is trouble-free.
Though you will probably never wish to wander further than the beach, the quaint village of Zihuatanejo is less than a mile away. It is a quick cab or bus ride or an easy walk if you are up for it.

Why Sally Gibson chose Centro
I loved this property from the moment I saw it because of the feeling an open air gives to a beautiful space. I love the view and the beautiful creamy feel of the floors and walls. The easy access to the front door with no steps or elevator was a bonus. The complex itself is super well taken care of by the nicest of people.
What makes this Condo unique
I love having Internet in the condo instead of having to go to town to a café. I enjoy the purified water at the kitchen sink, whose two filters and UV light are changed religiously. It makes me feel safe that I will not get sick. The sunset is beautiful and then the geckos come out chirping. What fun!

Luxury, comfort, and relaxation
My husband and I travelled with another couple and stayed for 11 nights at Sally's condo above La Ropa Beach. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it's great for a family or two couples. The condo is beautifully furnished & decorated, impeccably clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. Preparing meals is easy, and in March, limes, mangos and avocados are in season, so eating in is a great alternative to going out. What better view can you find than from Sally's balcony? We loved the views, of course, as well as the location.
We stayed in the master bedroom, which has its own balcony and large bathroom with a great shower. The open concept is such a treat for winter-weary travellers, and with the ocean breeze at night, we didn't need to use the AC once! Towels are changed every 2-3 days, and pool towels are available as well. The pools are stunning, clean, and a great place to meet other travellers. From the overhang of the infinity pools, you can enjoy the pristine gardens and hear the laughter and waves of the beach below. La Ropa is about a 7-minute walk away (down a hill, which means coming uphill after, so you'll burn a few calories!), and it's a friendly, busy beach with great sand. Las Gatas is accessible by water taxi from Zihua's marina, or on foot on a well-trodden rocky path - about 40 minutes' walk.
It's a short, quick cab ride into town, or about a 30-minute walk to the mercado, should you choose to foot it. Cabs are plentiful and drivers are always hospitable. The more expensive restaurants are located along Avenida La Ropa, a few minutes' walk from the condo, while Calle Adelita has several lovely reasonably-priced restaurants, and downtown Zihua also bustles with lively spots. Street tacos are always a good snack.
We love the vibrant colours and groove of Zihuatanejo - especially compared to the nondescript Ixtapa! It's a safe town and the people are lovely. We'll definitely be back, and we have no hesitation recommending Sally's gorgeous condo!
An impeccably appointed condo with breathtaking views and perfect amenities. People at the complex are friendly and considerate, and the same is expected of visiting guests.
The condo is on the corner where the taxis and cars come up the driveway. We were worried that it would be noisy, but it ended up being fine. The guests that come here are not the rowdy, disruptive type, and if you're looking to party hard, this is not the place for you. This condo is intended for complete relaxation and peace!
Thank you for a fabulous holiday in a magical place!
Family of four. Fantastic stay at Casa Blanca.
We are a family of four with two teenage boys. Our one week rental of Sally's condo in Zihuantejno was better than all of us had anticipated. Let me just say that the condo is beautiful and the views are incredible. The condo is very spacious and open with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect and the filtered water was a nice plus and the refrigerator worked like a champ. Wifi was excellent which was important to our boys! We loved the pools in the afternoon and being up above the beach was great as it provided us with a respite from the activity when we needed it. Sally was a perfect host as well making sure our arrival was smooth and that our departure was uneventful. Fresh flowers greeted us on arrival and lasted the entire week. Having traveled with our kids quite extensively over the past several years, this condo has to rank at the top as one our favorite places we have stayed. You will not be disappointment at all with your choice.
Perfect location, perfect view, friendly staff. Date night at Tempanios is a must and we are thankful to Eli for the recommendation and taking care of all the details. Everything about our stay was just what we needed. Thank you Sally for checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Sorry we didn't stay longer. We loved walking down to Playa Ropa and cabbing it into town.
Casa Que ve al Mar
Beautiful apartment. Well furnished (furniture and kitchen accessories). Loved having a washer and dryer. Maid service was good.
Didn't like the cobblestones.
great view with wonderful breezes
A very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. the open air living room onto the terrace was fabulous.
The kitchen functioned well and it was nice to have toilet paper and paper towels there for our use. Sally, the owner, was a delight to communicate with and very helpful regarding restaurants, etc.. The cleaning lady, jolanda, was also excellent. The 2 pools were fabulous. The reason for not giving 5 stars is : Eli , the property manager and the person with the key to open the condo for us, was not there when we came to check in, (which was the expected time), nor did he show up for the rest of the day. After a very long trip from the U.S. we did not enjoy sitting in the heat to wait. We just happened to be very fortunate that after the long wait, the other property manager was kind enough to help us locate the condo and talk to the cleaning lady, jolanda so we were able to get in. If not for this, I would have given a 5 star rating. Once we were in the condo, I emailed the owner and she was very nice and even offered a refund if we were not happy. Needless, to say we were very happy with the condo and set up, so chose not to leave.
Deep Sea Fishing is fantastic in this area.
