Love Lanikai and the community and all it has to offer.
Why Kawika chose Lanikai
It's very unique as it's one of the last remaining built of this style in the area
What makes this House unique
Location, location, location. I can constantly see the ocean all day including sea turtles. Enjoy being able to sit out on the deck with friends and family and feel the ocean breeze.

This place worked well for our family.
I would rent this place again
Oceanfront and centered between Flat Island and the Mokulua Islands provide the best views on Oahu
Huge family room with views overlooking the ocean and only several houses from the sands of Lanakai beach make Ocean House special. My entire extended family loved the place so much they want me to buy it. Kawika was very helpful before, during, and after our wonderful stay. We will be back.
Amazing views for an unforgettable vacation
The Ocean House was the perfect home to accommodate a large family of 22 people; grandparents, parents, teenagers, and toddlers all loved the open floor plan to gather and talk story. The rooms were spacious and honestly we sometimes forgot there were 22 people in the house since it was so big. The property itself was a classic throwback to old school Hawaii and it evoked a time of just looking at the ocean watching the waves crash on the break wall and forgetting about everything. The parking space was huge and easily fit 4 minivans, while the front yard is a great space to sit and people watch the beach goers stroll by to either Lanikai or Kailua beach. Again, an amazing space to kick back and relax with a large family. Kepola, the property manager, was real helpful and made sure we had what we needed to ensure our stay was as chill as her personality. The Aloha Spirit was alive during our stay. You’ll probably spend most of your memory space on your camera on the backyard view alone; make sure to leave some space for photos outside the home.
Fantastic spot for our large family. House was cozy and roomy for us all. Definitley loved the view as we could see the Mokulua Islands and sea turtles right from the living room. Will be back.
Home Sweet Home
Back for our 3rd visit in three years and as always the best home we have ever rented to accommodate our family. The guest services are terrific and really make the booking process very easy with there system. Always there to greet us upon arrival and departure. This home as the most fantastic views. All you see is this beautiful blue and turquois waster all day long and as always constant sighting of sea turtles right from the oceanside lawn. We had great weather, lots of fun on Lanikai Beach, woke to awesome surnrises and can't wait to come back again. Mahalo for making our stay another great one.
Feel of old Hawaii
We stayed here to celebrate mom's 80th birthday. From the beginning of our first connection with guest services to checking out, all went perfectly. The house has the feel of an old plantation house that easily accommodated the ten of us..... I can see how it would sleep 22 nicely. Having a full laundry room was a plus. We didn't think we'd need two fridges, but boy did that come in handy.....a drink fridge and a food fridge! We loved the large kitchen....wish there were more glasses for drinks, but we made do. We walked the neighborhood and met so many wonderful people with lots of lovely tips. The Moke Islands are must do for next time, but the kayaking out to the bird sanctuary was very interesting. For those less interested in battling the sea waves in a kayak, the canal was a lovely gentle paddle....saw Night Heron and heard there were barracudas in the canal.......no wonder the fish were so active! The turtles were there to greet us every morning and the waves sang us to sleep every night. Be prepared for some wind, but we loved it! It cooled off us NW'ers! Kayaking and scuba diving are right at your finger-tips......don't forget the lanai at Buzz's for puu-puu's and great food. The location was a quick drive into Honolulu if that's your program, but for relaxing and enjoying the Hawaiian spirit, there's no better place. You are in great hands with this group......we were so thankful for the recommend
