About the property

4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, sleeps 10

A perfect home to enjoy time in Annapolis! Located on King George Street, walking distance to the academy or downtown, this home is open year round with a two night minimum stay.

It is an outstanding home for Weddings, Academy Events, Alumni Gatherings or Family Vacations. This stunningly appointed home offers you an at-home setting in the heart of Annapolis, 1 block from the Academy entrance and 4 blocks to City Dock. The 2005 renovation took it down to the studs and rebuilt as a new house with every amenity. The gourmet kitchen is a cook (or caterer's!) delight with six burner gas stove, double oven, warming drawer, double dishwasher and granite counter-tops on an 11 foot center island. Dining table expands to comfortably seat 12.

On the second and third floor are four bedrooms - three with their own full bath with custom tile showers. The master and two guest rooms on the second floor each have queen beds. The third floor suite holds both a twin bed and full bed, a full shower, and a private outdoor roof deck with stunning views of the Academy Chapel.

Enjoy this home for any visit to Annapolis!

RENT FOR COMMISSIONING WEEK, WEDDINGS, ALUMNI REUNIONS, FAMILY VACATION:

This house is conveniently located for any Annapolis events. Walking distance from the Academy, downtown and under a mile to the stadium, this is an easy house to just park you car and walk. It has been the host house for many weddings, reunions and family celebrations. It is located just 4 blocks to the waterfront and the entrance to the October Boat Shows.

This home has a lower level with an owners suite. Owner is occasionally in Annapolis, and may be staying in the suite, but it has its own private entrance from the driveway. You will not even know if she is there.

About Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua

I've been an Annapolis area local since 1988, owned businesses in town, and on the boards of several Annapolis non-profits. Annapolis is my home, and I love to share it with guests!

Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua purchased this house in 2005

Why Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua chose Historic District

I was looking for a home in downtown Annapolis that I could renovate and make my own. When I found this home, it was a small cottage that I was able to completely renovate. I more than doubled the size by adding a full finished basement and turned the attic into a third floor suite. It was a labor of love, and I am so pleased with the results!

I have visited this home before during a family friend's stay and loved it! My stay was no different! Wonderful space for a large family stay/gathering! I will definitely be apt to reserve this space again! And Marie is the best, very flexible and accommodating!

Fantastic property. 100% "as advertised"

  • 5 of 5

Marie was a gracious and receptive host. The house has been completely renovated, and the parking for 3 cars was a tremendous asset. I would encourage anyone looking for a 4BR house in Annapolis to look no further. This house has everything you'll need - and then some! I'm a local, and I rented this house for a small team meeting with a few work colleagues from out of town. I would offer it my highest recommendation. Book it with confidence and enjoy!

Just Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for Plebe Parent Weekend. The location couldn't be better (only a short block from Gate 3). Also, it is a very easy walk to the commercial center of 'downtown' Annapolis. The house is well equipped, well maintained and very comfortable. It is much larger than it appears from the street or the description. It was prefect to entertain another family for dinner and allowed us to spread out over the weekend. Just perfect for our purpose.

Beautiful Home in a great location.

  • 5 of 5

Just completed four night stay and loved it (again)! Plan on coming back next year to make it three years in a row. Easy walk to Naval Academy, Downtown or West Street. Plus house has perfect first floor lay out for family gatherings. Worth the price you pay to stay there.
