Bare bones, but perfect
My three night stay with a friend was great. No frills, but no problem. Everything was clean and as advertised.
Amazing property and check in
I loved this space. It was a great landing spot after a concert. The host left excellent directions. The space was very clean. The beds were so comfortable, I could have easily slept in. The living spaces were perfect for getting a little writing done in the morning, and I enjoyed breakfast in the spacious kitchen/dining area. The downtown view from the deck drew pleasant conversation from my guest. I would definitely choose this space again. The owner was very accommodating to my last minute booking.
It was about a 15 minute drive to Millennium Park where we went to the Chicago Blues Festival. Nice unit with gated parking. We enjoyed the time that we spent there.
Great, cozy open space ideal for a small group however, apparantly the walls are paper thin and our small jambox with limited sound projection that we only had on for approx 4 or so hours in the morning awarded us a couple of noise complaints. Otherwise the bldg and neighborhood is well kept and nice. Would rec for those who prefer quiet
A nice updated apartment
This unit is in a building safe and secure by a pass code for the front door as well for each unit. The area was clean and nice as well as inside, the people running the place are attentive and readily available for any of your question or needs.
Great Hidden Gem
The family and I really enjoyed our stay. I travel back and forth to Chicago and look forward to staying there again. The communication was great and friendly.
We want to under promise and over deliver. So we want to be clear that this property is on Chicago's West side in an amazing multicultural and ethnically diverse neighborhood. It is, for sure in the inner city. It's full of grime and glory. You can't walk to a coffee shop but you can make eye contact and chit chat with a total stranger. Not many places in a big city where that happens anymore. If you're not used to big cities, do a street view to make sure it's in your comfort zone. Or, step outside of your comfort zone and have a fantastic new experience. Isn't that one of the best parts of travel!?
