Stunning house and property!
This large western style log cabin was stunning for its size, style and amenities and perfect for our group. We made ample use of the large kitchen for both breakfast and supper. All enjoyed the large main floor for gaming and conversations. The pool table was in fine shape. The hot tub was greatly appreciated after long ski days. We stayed during a nor'easter but the driveway was expertly plowed early in time for us to hit the slopes at Sunday River, 10 minutes drive away!
The pictures do not do this house any justice at all! Beautiful cabin with more than enough room to comfortably entertain my group of 15. As you pull down the driveway you truly get that rustic vacation feeling as you begin to see this home! Perfect place for a quiet getaway with friends or family!!
Marc the owner was great to deal with. He was very quick to respond via both email or by phone if I had any questions at all. We had an absolute blast staying here and are already planning to book this cabin again!
Beautiful and Gorgeous Cabin
I can't even express how amazing this cabin rental is. You walk in and it's just the biggest home I've ever been inside of. The master bedroom is amazing, the downstairs basement with full bath and laundry, pool table, huge beautiful bar, large flat screen tv and sliding doors to the patio. The upstairs living room and permanent Christmas tree was a thrill in July, and sliding doors from open kitchen, living room, and master bedroom to the deck with an awesome hot tub. The kitchen is large and stocked with spices and all cookware. The upstairs loft with two foutons and two bedrooms with two beds each. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The sound system is amazing. You can have 4 different sources playing at once and have different music in basement, outside deck, kitchen/living room, and each bedroom/bathroom has its own channel source too!
We had all our bridesmaids and groomsmen and their sognificant others staying here for our wedding weekend. They all had a blast and we all want to come back and hang out here again!
The place is awesome!
I went up with my family and we had plenty of room to relax at the cabin. It's a beautiful place.
Best cabin I've ever rented
This cabin was the most beautiful cabin I've ever been to. Lots of space, beautiful property, didn't have one single problem, definitely want to come back some day
We had a wonderful time at bear river cabin. The space was excellent for a big group and it was very relaxing. The area is beautiful with lots of great trails. We would definitely come back.
The Cabin is located in the scenic Bear River Valley on Route 26. It is approximately 10 minutes from both the Sunday River Ski Resort and the scenic town of Bethel; 5 minutes from the Androscoggin River; and 5 minutes from scenic Grafton Notch State Park. It has direct access to the Maine Interconnected Trail system (ITS84) for hiking, snowmobiling and cross country skiing and is directly across from the trail head of the 17 mile Grafton Loop Trail which connects to the Appalachian Mountain Trail. The Bear River, the primary drainage for the Mahoosuc Mountain Range, flows through the property and provides prime swimming and fishing opportunities.
