About Owner / Manager Clive and Deborah Wanstall
Clive and Deb Wanstall, We live in Surrey and had holidayed in Lagos with our family when they were all growing up, and we all still love it now.
Owner / Manager Clive and Deborah Wanstall purchased this House in 2014
Why Owner / Manager Clive and Deborah Wanstall chose Meia Praia
We bought our beautiful home in Lagos because of its excellent location, and outstanding build quality (you can tell my husbands in the building trade!)
What makes this House unique
To own a home in Lagos in this location has always been our dream, laying by your own pool, with uninterrupted views to the sun what ever time of year is great.

An excellent holiday, fantastic facilities and location.
We had an amazing time can’t say enough good things about it. It was perfect for our two families, plenty of room for us all to move around and the facilities were great.
The only two negatives were that there weren’t enough sun beds for all 8 of us and it would have been good to have an umbrella as there is no shade until the late afternoon and only on the house side.
The location was brilliant, so close to the supermarket, restaurants and beach but far enough out that we didn’t hear any ‘night life’.
Dhyana, the Manager was very helpful and friendly on our arrival and departure and was available by WhatsApp for the whole of our stay.
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house and hopefully we will be able to return.
Fabulous family location
Property is in excellent condition central to everything. Just a quick hop to the marina and 5 minutes walk to Lagos restaurant area. Owners thought of everything and we couldn't have asked for more. Thanks a million.
The perfect place to stay in Lagos
Beautiful property with well equipped kitchen. Lovely pool with loads of fun inflatables. We used the BBQ almost every evening. The location is ideal situated just beyond the marina which means the beach, old town, supermarket and marina are a short walk away. The property owners and property manager in Lagos were a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.
Lovely property in a great location which was well kitted out with plenty space for 8 people
We had a lovely week in Lagos staying at this property. Our Family group of 6 adults had plenty of space in the house and we enjoyed using the well equipped kitchen.
We arrived on the 30th October and left on 6th November, so quite late in the season. The weather was a bit mixed, but ideal for the Golfers. We didn't get to use the pool or the BBQ this time round because it was a bit too cool for that, but we would definitely like to return in the Summer months and take full advantage of the outside space.
The location of the House is great, walking distance to the Marina & Old town, we did lots of walking while we were there. It's great to find a place that is so central, yet peaceful!
Perfect in every way.
We found this lovely property to have everything we needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay. Easy walking distance to town and the superb beach.
Communication from the start was very good and the transfer recommended was excellent. (Yellow Fish Transfers).
We all love the Lagos area and would not hesitate to book this property again in the future.
Our thanks to Debbie and Clive for sharing this lovely home and for having thought of so many little touches that made it perfect for young and not so young alike.
Fantastic property in a beautiful town
My family of 8 (4 couples) are just back from Deb and Clive’s beautiful villa ,it couldn’t not have been a better place to stay in a lovely location which was very quiet but only10 minutes to the beautiful marina .
Every room has air con ,plenty of space for everyone , two of the rooms have a balcony to the front overlooking the small pond and the sea beyond ,one other had a balcony to the rear too ,plenty of toilets and showers and a fantastic kitchen which was very well equipped
The outside area again had a lovely view over the pond lying on our loungers watching the ducks !
We also made good use of your barbecue and yes your lovely pool too.
Dhyana was looking after the property and she was helpful attentive and gave us lots of good advice re where to go eateries and things to do. Clive and Debs ,again couldn’t have been more helpful and were very quick at returning emails and replying to any queries
The villa being close to the marina ,which had lots of lovely bars and restaurants ,also about 20minutes to main town depending on how fast you walk although I had my elderly parents with me it is a relatively flat and pleasant walk
The beach Meia paria (think this is the spelling)again in the other direction only 10minutes walk and we have never seen such a lovely beach no rocks smooth sand and again lots of nice places to eat and drink. We particularly liked Linda’s bar food very nice and great views across the beach. The Bahia beach bar had some live music as did quite a few at the Marina and in the main town
The main town again an easy stroll from the villa had lovely restaurants and bars and an excellent fish market which is also home to a rooftop bar so we managed to shop for fresh fish ,fresh veg here and have a drink !!
Debs and Clive we cant thank you enough for letting us rent your lovely property and hopefully we may be able to visit another time

Lagos is a beautiful town in the western Algarve that can certainly be enjoyed by everybody. It is full of historical interest with it's origins dating as far back as 2000 years BC when it was known as Lacobriga. Lagos has always had a seafaring connection, originally visited by Phoenicians and Carthaginians and then, during the 15th century, was the base for the 'voyages of the Discoveries' instigated by Henry the Navigator
Lagos is certainly full of history, but it is also a vibrant town with lots going on. In the middle of town, is Praça de Gil Eanes and this is often the setting for evening entertainment throughout the year - theatre, a comical unicyclist, live music or a medieval fair are just some of the events we have enjoyed. If Portugal are playing football, or there is a major competition on, the cafes will have the big screens up in the square and everyone joins in the excitement.
The 450+ berth marina, which has both the Euromarina Anchor Award and the Blue Flag award.
