Autumn in Maine

  • 5 of 5

We selected this home because it was close to a lake and the Fryeburg Fair. Happily, both of our expectations were met. It was only a short, pleasant walk to Moose Pond. We enjoyed the scenery and watched as the colors of the leaves changed during the week from green to autumn red. The Fryeburg Fair was a convenient 20 minute drive away. We found the home to be warm and comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. Facilities were clean and comfortable. I would consider coming back again next year and would recommend this home to my friends and family. Thanks for a great time.

Perfect Hideaway

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was the real thing. All the comforts of home. Quiet and secluded. Have already requested to rent again in the summer.

Nice setting

  • 3 of 5

The cabin is in a very nice setting with lots of wildlife and could be really special with better maintenance and cleaning. I think the previous party that rented it may have left it very cluttered with personal items as these were all over the upstairs bathroom. Also there were many cobwebs and the bedding was not adequate. The outside fireplace on the porch was full of cigarette butts.

Awesome lakefront cabin in the woods

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful stay here! The log cabin is even prettier and more charming in person and the quiet location couldn't be lovelier. The woods and lake view are stunning! The cabin is great for a couple but big enough for two families. The nearby town of Bridgton is super cute with lots of great places to eat. The White Mountains National Forest is right on the doorstep with all it wonderful hikes and viewpoints. We had a great few days here amongst the fall leaves!

Best cabin we've ever stayed at!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I booked this cabin for our wedding weekend for ourselves and our entire wedding party. All 12 of us agreed it was the best cabin ever.

Not only was it EXTREMELY reasonably priced, but Diane was the only home owner who was okay with letting our wedding party stay at her home without hiking the insurance or turning us away completely like many other rentals did.

The house, inside and out, is absolutely stunning. We had all the amenities we needed like towels, bedding, dishes, cookware, etc so not one person had to buy and lug a bunch of stuff 3.5 hours away up there.

The wifi was also extremely helpful, as almost no one had service in the area, which can be quite a problem when you're trying to put together a wedding and coordinate with vendors. The wifi allowed me to communicate via email or iMessage with people/vendors.

A few of the boys took the canoe out on the pond and utilized the available fishing poles the cabin had to offer, which they were thrilled about.

Overall we had an amazing time at this place and my husband and I agree that we will be returning every year on this weekend to celebrate our anniversary!

Very Homey!

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed our stay. The rooms were quaint and the beds very comfortable. The decor was nice. We enjoyed the backyard campfires each night! Pretty, but private views. Very quiet. Nice sounding creek nearby! Would stay again.
