Shhhhhhhhhhh..... Want to Know a Secret?
Nestled in the woods and situated directly on the edge of Pinecrest Lake sits a beautiful pine cabin. This very special secret is only a short 15 min drive south of Whistler's Creekside Gondola and 10 mins. south of the 2010 Callahan Valley Olympic Nordic Venue.
Enjoy the open concept great room, surrounded by views of the lake, forest and mountains. Every way you look the views are absolutely spectacular.Enjoy the bird wildlife that feeds from our birdfeeders that overlook the lake. This is the perfect place for both a winter and summer getaway.
After a long day of skiing, skating, hiking or biking relax in our new hot tub situated on our beautiful new deck overlooking the lake and mountains.
This exclusive gated community is unique as you can do many of the activities from our front door. In the winter the beautiful, warm swimming lake is often frozen allowing for ice skating and pick up hockey games (eh?). Snowshoe, Cross Country Ski and sled the backcountry, all of which are accessible from the property (all skill levels).
In the summer, swim, kayak or just relax on the dock. Hike and bike these same trails or have a game of tennis on the two community private courts.
So now you know about Whistler's best kept secret.......Shhhhhhhhh!
Bruce is a bankruptcy trustee and Rosie is a Registered Nurse and owns a private nursing homecare business in Vancouver. We have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. We love to ski, snowshoe, bike, hike and golf. We also love to travel and play bridge. This is our second home. We are so happy to share our forever home with you. It is very very special.
I almost forgot, our family are all hockey players and when we are not on the ice we are cheering on our team, the Vancouver Canucks. Go Canucks GO
Bruce purchased this cabin in 2005
Living in Vancouver we love the Whistler area and all it has to offer. We love the fact that it is situated in the middle of the mountains on a beautiful little lake and only a short drive to Whistler. We can swim and skate off the dock, bike and hike and snow shoe from our front door and end the day in our hot tub. We have a large family so the cabin layout is perfect for us.
We have spent so many wonderful times with our family and friends just sitting around the fire (both inside and out)visiting, playing games and feeling very lucky to have such a unique place just to be.
We are only a 15 min drive to the Callaghan Valley, home of the cross country and ski jumping 2010 Olympic venue. It is now open to the public for cross country skiing and most weekends hosts a skiing or jumping competion.
Once again we found it clean, well stocked with attentive owners at the helm. We will be returning.
We loved our stay! The cabin has all the comforts and it really feels like a home... You can tell the owners have put a lot of love into it. The location is great - close enough to Whistler to be convenient but far enough to get away from the crowds. The hot tub was spectacular. Very easy and reasonable opening/closing instructions. We took away a lot of ideas for our own future cabin in the mountains!
Our family loved this place! Lots of room, rustic and cozy, fully stocked with anything you need. Hot tub a bonus, great views, 20 minutes back to the village but didn't matter, bedrooms were good size and loft stocked with books and games! Wood burning fireplace also great, everything clean & comfortable!
This cabin is adorable! I was constantly amazed by all the little details; from clothes pin towel name tags to the breakfast recipe written inside the cabinet door. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for our group of 7. We loved being able to cook our meals and have some quiet, family time outside of Whistler chaos. We were 15 min for Whistler and about 20 from Squamish. There was great communication prior and during stay. Highly recommend this home for those who like a bit more solitude than Whistler offers. The teens in our group loved the paddle boards and the lake.
The cabin is comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation spot.
We stayed at the cabin the week of 15 February, 2016. The cabin comes fully stocked with pots, pans, linens, towels, toiletry items, games, etc... about everything you could want. There is a beautiful view of the lake, and the hot tub is wonderful for relaxing after a hard day of activities...for us it was skiing. The drive to Creekside is only about 10 minutes, and to main village about 15 minutes. If you want the noise and hustle/bustle of being near everything stay in town, but for us the seclusion and beauty of this cabin was exactly what we were looking for! We loved staying here and would recommend to anyone!
Only negative (for us at least) was that all bedrooms are on second floor, so caution to those who may be travelling with a person who doesn't do well with stairs. There is a pullout on main floor, and large sofa sectional...but no privacy for anyone sleeping in those areas.
Heliskiing, swim in the summer, skate in the winter (hockey anyone?) from our back door!
