When we arrived at the house, we noticed right away that some cleaning (dusting, floors looked like they needed mopping, etc) could have been done better. The listing stated the home had satellite/cable tv. This was not the case and I was told when I questioned that the owner had changed to Roku. I was not notified of this change. It would have been nice to know. We noticed the first night that the AC upstairs was not cooling well. I contacted the rental agent and someone was sent to check it out. This person could not even find the ac unit and asked my husband where is was located. He said he would talk with his boss and let us know when someone would come. No call back from him. The agency called the next day to check on the issue and told me someone would be there between 2-4. He came, added Freon and the unit cooled some better, but it took until after midnight to cool the upstairs down to the set temperature. I did not call back to let them know because I was tired of dealing with maintenance issues. I came on vacation to get away and relax.
I will say the rental agent was quick to respond to my request, but I was hoping to have a relaxing vacation not deal with someone else’s problem with their home. I ended up leaving a day early because of the issues.
