Located in the heart of the Killington region this property is the perfect venue for a family retreat or reunion with wrap around deck and lush/private landscaped yard. You will enjoy close proximity to everything the Green Mountains of Vermont have to offer. Enjoy hiking, rock climbing, fly fishing or finding your private waterhole equipped with the many waterfalls that dot the landscape and crystal clear mountain lakes to take a cool dip during the beautiful summer months. In the evening breathe in the fresh crisp night air while enjoying stars so bright they will illuminate the magnificent night-time sky.

Guestbook comments from the manager

A group of 15 friends decided to head up to Killington, VT for New Years 2010. I expected this to be a fun trip but it turned out to be the best New Year's that any of us has ever had. My family has been going up to Killington since I was 5 years old so I knew, geographically, where I wanted us to be - close to the mountain, close to food shopping, close to bars and restaurants. The Tuck-it-Inn had all of this and more. When you walk in, your first thought is, "Wow, this is a lot of space!" The kitchen area is extremely spacious, which is great for a large group (and all of the appliances work!). The bedrooms are great and there wasn't anyone without a bed in our group. The hot-tub jacuzzi in the backyard was clutch for post-skiing therapy. You could walk to Pizza Jerks (great local pizzeria) and two of the better bars in Killington, Jax and Pickle Barrel. If you call a Killington Taxi/shuttle service, they know exactly where you are and aren't confused by some obscure address in the middle of the woods. You're literally right on the main drag. Plenty of parking in the driveway for a fleet of cars so you don't have to worry about blocking the early risers who are headed to the mountain for first tracks.

Overall, I don't think there is much more you can ask from a home or a New Year's experience than the one we had at the Tuck-it-Inn. Thanks Joe!

Great Ski House!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at Tuck it Inn with a group of friends this past weekend and it was wonderful! We are already planning our trip next year. It is in a great location to restaurants as well as the mountain. The common areas were spacious and easily fit our group! The game room and hot tub are definitely an added bonus. I highly recommend it!

Perfect House for Large Group

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with 8 people and we all loved it. We hope this house is available next year so we can come again. The pictures don't show how big this house is. The first level is perfect for hanging out. There's a big kitchen, a bar and a big living room. The bottom floor has a great game room with ping pong and darts. The location is perfect. You are short walk to Pickle Barrell and Wobbly Barn. You are about 2 miles to the mountain. If you are going with a big group and want to have fun this house is PERFECT. Joe is very responsive and helpful with any questions you have. We originally had another house that was cancelled at the last minute and Joe saved our vacation. There is also plenty of parking if you are going with multiple cars. As long as there is availability we will never stay anywhere else when we go to killington.

Perfect rental for a large group!

  • 5 of 5

My coworkers and I needed a rental for a weekend ski trip and this house was perfect. The open layout of the kitchen/living room/bar was a comfortable amount of space for our 12 person group to spend time in. The kitchen had every cooking appliance needed to make large dinners. Additionally, the house is conviently located a very short drive to the Killington Ski resort and downtown shops. Our ski trip was a success and we plan on renting again!

Amazing stay, great host, fantastic accommodations

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Tuck It Inn Chalet during the Womens World Cup ski race at Killington Mountain Resort. Joe and Sheri were fantastic hosts getting us set up for our stay and provided great information on the place prior to our arrival. Our group of 14 had more than enough space both for sleeping and hanging out. Everyone being able to eat together at the large dinner table was a huge plus.

There is absolutely nothing lacking in these accommodations and the location is fantastic for both its proximity to the ski hill and night life. Our next trip to Killington we will be looking to stay at the Tuck It Inn again for certain.

Thank you Kozlar family for helping to make our weekend away a great one.

Owner's Response: I'm so glad a good time was had by all, we were extremely excited to be hosting the first World Cup Race in more then 25 years in the Northeast! Its good to hear that the extra monies you paid to stay at our home was worth the additional investment instead of staying several miles away were you were originally booked. Look forward to welcoming you and your group back to our home.

Annual Friendcation

  • 4 of 5

A group of childhood friends and myself rented the home for 3 days this August. The home was great with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. It was also stocked with all that we would need from towels to spices for cooking. Since we were there in the summer it ran hot upstairs in the main living area, so as guests i would suggest bring fans for the upstairs area. The downstairs was nice and cool but a bit damp. I guess if i had to make a suggestion to the owners maybe a dehumidifier for the lower level. Otherwise it was an excellent stay and i would certainly do it again!

Owner's Response: Glad to hear you had a pleasant visit to our home and you found it stocked just like you own home with all necessities. Air conditioning is not very common in Vermont due to the generally perfect daytime temps and cool comfortable nights, although we do get a handful of warm days. One of the greatest features of our home is the downstairs level is below ground level and naturally air conditioned at a year-round 68 degrees for those few warm summer days. See you next year, happy to hear your family enjoyed their stay. Joe
