Wonderful Rome apartment

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely apartment with all the amenities that anyone could need. Terrace a perfect place to have a nice glass of wine in the evening after a full day in Rome. Nik was so helpful and responsive. When in Rome this apartment will be our home in the future.

Great Apartment in Good Location

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was very nice, and the terrace was great. Nicco met us there and showed us how everything worked. He even provided us with a welcome bottle of Prosecco.

The location of the apartment was good, but a bit of a walk from the tourist attractions. Overall, a very good value.

Wonderful, peaceful, and cozy apartment.

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is the perfect place for a couple or couple plus a child or other person to stay while in Rome. The entrance is secure and through a very nice hotel. The apartment itself is just as it is described and was immaculately clean when we arrived. The terrace was remarkably quiet and allowed us to enjoy the incredibly nice weather while we were there in Rome in the evenings. Every morning we had a cappuccino and a pastry at a bar around the corner (turn right when leaving the hotel, then the first left). There are several nice restaurants on the street and I would advise checking with Nicolo or TripAdvisor for which ones to avoid or visit. Public transportation is within a block and will take you anywhere you need to go in Rome by bus or subway. Nicolo was wonderful and I felt I could call him at anytime for help. My husband and I are veteran travelers to Italy and we would definitely stay here again. This apartment would be ideal for families like us who might stay longer than a week or two and have other family members who want to stay a shorter time. They could stay in the hotel, giving everyone a bit of privacy and convenience at the same time. Finally, the washing machine allowed us to travel with just a carryon--a great convenience for visitors who like to travel light.

Living like a local....

  • 5 of 5

When travelling, I prefer to stay at a VRBO/Homeaway property to get a better feel for what it is like to live where I am visiting instead of a cookie-cutter hotel. Nik's beautiful apartment did not disappoint. I will second all the positive comments about Nik and the apartment in the reviews. Great neighborhood, THE BEST pizza five steps from your front door, close to all the sites (Vatican is a LONG walk...take the #62 bus) and 10 minutes stroll to the Main Terminal. Fantastico! Thanks Nik

Nice apartment, within walking distance to all the main attractions and in a quiet safe neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Nik arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport, which was really wonderful after a long flight and with no idea of how to get to the rental. Once at the rental, Nik met us and went over everything in the apartment and gave us some restaurant tips. The rental was clean and big enough for the two of us, along with the nice outdoor area it was more than sufficient. We did not cook, but the small kitchen looked to have everything you would require. Overall, this was a great apartment for us to walk to all the attractions and to check out all the great restaurants near by.

The Best Place to stay in Roma

  • 5 of 5

I have had occasion to stay in two of the Arnaldi family properties this year and I am always delighted. This was my second stay in this apartment and it was even better this time as the owner tastefully renovated the bathroom ( plenty of hot water). The neighborhood is an authentic family oriented area. I saw many grandparents pushing baby carriages and of course they were beautifully dressed. The location near the train station, buses and Piazza della Repubblica is incredibly convenient. It is a short walk to all the famous Roman sights and a relief to return to the quiet and safety of the apartment after a day of touring; to a glass of wine on the terrace and it's garden plants. The area is rife with restaurants, trattorias and bars. There are also many artisanal food stores to buy cheese, and wine and ready made takeout Italian style. And the brothers Niccolo and Stefano are very attentive to their clients and know a lot of the history of the area. They are the best owners to deal with. The apartment is beautifully appointed and with the large window and doors to the terrace is full of light. The bed must be new as it is firm and comfortable. Also provided in the adorable kitchen are some spices and herbs and plenty of good pots if you wish to cook.I intend to return again next year and as the Italian language school is a 20 minute walk, to learn this beautiful language. Returning to a hotel lobby with a beautiful elevator to the top floor is a great bonus.
