Nice Property

  • 4 of 5

I spent a little longer in this condo than I planned to, so my review may be a little nitpicky. Location-wise, the property and the surrounding area are my favorite things about this condo. I've stayed in several villas on the same property and love the peaceful beauty and close proximity to the Omni. The condo itself is a little dated in my opinion. However, it was clean and comfortable and again in a great location. There were a couple of maintenance related things that need to be addressed, or should have been addressed before I checked in. But overall it was a nice stay.

Perfect for our family and just what we needed! We’ll definitely be back!

  • 5 of 5

Dennis was very accommodating as we hadn’t heard from the property management company the day prior to our arrival. He was very personal and made sure to call himself and ensure that we had all the details. The property itself was perfect for our family of four and our furry plus one. The pool basically felt like it was our own as hardly anyone was around! The beach was not crowded whatsoever and beautiful! The surrounding area is phenomenal and I could imagine living there one day. What a find!

The condos kitchen was just as everyone else had said, stocked and we didn’t need anything! On the days we just wanted to relax and the kids watch tv, there were tons of movie channels. I can’t say anything better about the place and the owners! 5 stars isn’t enough! Thank you for sharing your condo!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect is the word that comes to mind when I think of my stay at this condo on Amelia Island at the Plantation Resort. The condo did not disappoint, it is exactly as described in the description on VRBO and shown in the pictures. The kitchen is outfitted for absolutely anything you would want to cook or bake and it's updated with great appliances (gorgeous refrigerator). The condo is very shaded and stays very cool.

The resort property is breathtaking, trails for bike riding or walking under gorgeous trees shading the path (we were there on the hottest weekend of the year and never felt the heat unless we were on the beach in direct sunlight). The golf courses are amazing and full of beautiful scenery and state of the art golf carts with GPS. Every restaurant we ate at on property was delicious and the every staff member we encounterered at the resort was top notch and incredibly solicitous and professional.

The beach is a short, easy (mostly shaded) walk across the street and then through protected dunes which are breathtaking on their own. The beach is like a private beach by the Villa and if you prefer more people it's a 1/4 mile walk to the Resort where you have full access to their 3 pools (one for 18 over adults only), hot tubs and beach chairs/umbrellas. The sand is soft but that perfect packed sand by the water which makes walking at the surf just perfect! We saw dolphins every day...in the morning and in the afternoon and on our last day a full pod of about 30 came about 30 yards to the beach jumping out of the water. I loved this condo, I loved the resort and I loved Amelia Island. Definitely take a night to go to the historic area and see a sunset and do NOT leave without tasting the most incredible shrimp (freshly caught) you will ever have.

Amelia Condo

  • 5 of 5

The condo was great! The accommodations were very nice. My wife, dogs and I really enjoyed our stay, even if we never made it to the beach. It was clean, comfortable and everything worked as it should have. We have to be back at Amelia next year and may want to book your condo again! I’ll be in touch.
