This beautiful newly-renovated two-bedroom condo is located only a 10 minute walk from the Plaza and is central to all activities in town including the Rail Yard, Canyon Road, and a short drive to Hyde Park Road which leads to the Ski Basin.
The condo is situated inside a private compound with no drive through traffic. There are two off street parking spots available to you directly in front of the house.
Inside you can enjoy the traditional New Mexico charm of the diamond plaster walls and the kiva fireplace. The art collection that hangs throughout the house is a creative mixture of antiques and contemporary art by local artists. A large sectional sofa surrounds the kiva fire place in the living room to socialize or relax around. There is a writing desk off to the side to work on.
The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and all the tools needed to prepare a meal for friends and family. From the kitchen door you enter to the private yard surrounded by coyote fence and a large elm tree. The yard has patio furniture and a bbq gas grill for outside entertaining.
The master-bedroom has a custom made Cal-King bed with an extremely comfortable mattress system modeled after the Montage Hotel and is accompanied with luxury linens. The guest bedroom has a comfortable full size bed with an antique vanity. The bathroom is new with an antique vanity and a deep soaking tub.

About Alexis & Bobbi
Alexis grew up in Amsterdam. He enjoys art, design, traveling, cooking, and photography. Bobbi grew up in New Mexico. She enjoys art, design, traveling, and being creative with color and texture through art and interior design. Alexis and Bobbi met working in the film industry. He worked in the camera department, and she worked in the art department. In between film projects the two found a passion for renovating investment properties and setting them up for travelers seeking comfortable accommodations with a sense of style. After 10 years living in Brooklyn, Bobbi and Alexis finally took the plunge to full time upstate living to raise their daughter in the country. We love Santa Fe and need a home base to get our green chile fix. We chose South Capitol because we wanted to be downtown and walking distance to The Plaza and Canyon Road.

Beautiful place, fantastic location
My family and I had a terrific time staying here. The place is absolutely beautiful, clean, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to make most of our meals at home which was a great money saver. The place was very toddler friendly too. We enjoyed the BBQ and our toddler loved playing with the pebbles in the side yard. The location was terrific. The neighbourhood has that real historic Santa Fe charm that we were looking for. We loved the short walking distance to historic down town and the farmers market. We loved Santa Fe and hope to be back soon and would love to stay in this beautiful apartment again.
Bobbie and Alex are very professional and easy to communicate with. Everything was clean and in order. Really enjoyed my visit. I highly recommend their place.

The home is located close to the downtown area. Essentials provided, beds were comfortable. We loved the small patio area as we had a dog with us. We’d stay here again.

Location is perfect, but please get some decent furniture
Let me preface this by saying I'm in my late 50s, so someone younger who is not suffering the vagaries of aging might not care, but the living room furniture is much too soft and low to sit on or get out of easily. I had to bend forward and place my hands on the floor in order to get off the sofa, which was not pleasant. The dining room chairs are hard wood, no cushions, so there was literally no place for me to sit. I met a friend from college for a weekend in Santa Fe and we spent most of our "down time" in the master bedroom (which is where the tv is) which is nicely appointed,, with good reading lights and a fluffy, warm duvet. There's a shelf full of books, too! The second bedroom (where I slept) had a wooden chair instead of bedside table and a lamp with a pitiful low wattage bulb , so any reading in bed was impossible. Maybe if the bed were placed next to the vanity it would solve this problem...
The kitchen was relatively well appointed, including a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. There was coffee and a coffee maker, but no coffee filters. The bathroom was clean and lovely, although a couple of towel racks or a hook on the back of the door would be a welcome addition.
Overall, the place was clean and visually pleasing and the location was unbeatable, but uncomfortable for these aging bones. Younger folk would likely be able to look past these minor discomforts and enjoy the quiet, lovely space.
This is a PRIME LOCATION. Located just 5 blocks to the Plaza - home of the Indian Market, Spanish Market, world famous restaurants, and art galleries. Situated directly between Canyon Road (Gallery Row) and the new Railyard (a shopping center, farmers market, and hub for the train that connects Santa Fe to Albuquerque).
