Enjoy a relaxing holiday in our big organic farm in Northern Le Marche in sight of the UNESCO Heritage site of Urbino.
In sight of Urbino in our big organic farm, our charming apartments are the perfect starting point for discovering unspoilt Le Marche region (Italy's best kept secret), that is if you succeed leaving your own secluded terrace or the pool with sweeping views of the landscape. Complete gourmet kitchens, welcoming and comfortable interiors, private outside sitting areas to enjoy the sun or eat al fresco, beautiful surrounding countryside, sustainability (100% of the heating, hot water and electricity come from renewable energies), local hosts with wide knowledge of the area, of the local traditions and cooking and very good English, this is what our guests appreciate about us. Gorgeous dinners can be prepared upon request at our nearby inn, prepared with our homegrown organic produce. Our swimming pool, shared with the other guests of the inn, is at your disposal and horseriding is available, for you to explore this beautiful area in a different way.
The Apartment Casina dei Tordi, stands 500 metres from our Agriturismo main building and the pool, it's a comfortable apartment (ground floor) with a sitting/dining room, separate kitchen, double bedroom with comfortable queensize bed and large storage area and a complete bathroom with tub/shower (with screen) and a toilet room with wc/bidet & washing machine.
The kitchen is complete with fridge and freezer, oven, coffee machine, toaster and all the utensils, crockery and tableware that you need to prepare and enjoy your meals at the Casina. You'll also find a welcome basket with some items from the farm storeroom for you not to miss our wine, jams, juices, bread and fresh organic eggs.
Step outside and you'll find yourself in your own private bit of garden with a terrace with loungers, chairs, table and umbrella for you to enjoy your meals al fresco or sunbath, surrounded by the amazing hills of the Montefeltro. Near the main house, you'll find a swimming pool that you share with the other guests of the Locanda.
A free dsl connection is available for you to use and, should you need it, you can borrow a mobile phone (you can use it for receiving calls only or recharge the sim card and make calls).
In the main building there's a wide choice of maps, information and books that you're very welcome to use.
We will be at your disposal to suggest itineraries, restaurants and to share with you our tiny secrets about this beautiful and little known area.
The Casina is a no smoking apartment (you're welcome to smoke outside, but please be careful during summer!)
Sorry no pets.

COMMENTS FROM OUR GUESTS
'We found it absolutely wonderful. The host, Giulia was very nice and welcoming. The appartment is very well designed and the layout offered a very comfortable stay. Inside and outside offered privacy and a very very quiet environment to relax and enjoy nature in the surroundings.
Giulia really thought of everything in the apartment from the welcoming products to all the kitchen appliances you might need; including a wonderful wisk...!
I would recommend the Casina to anyone who desire some quiet time and privacy. Wonderful place!'
'The apartment was fantastic, we have never stayed in such a well equiped property. Giulia and her parents were so welcoming and helpful, even suggesting places to eat & making reservations for us. We did eat at the hotel, and the food was very good along with delightful company of the other guests. The wildlife around was incredible, you must go there even if it is just to hear the owls at night! This apartment is now the bench mark for any future property comparisons.'

Organic farmer, innkeeper, cook, baker, what else? Always glad to share my knowledge about this very little known area with guests and help you enjoy your stay.
Giulia purchased this Apartment in 1981
Why Giulia chose Province of Pesaro and Urbino
In the late 70’ my parents, an architect who designed mainly hotels, from the building to the furniture, and a housewife and mother with a great interest in herbalism and gardening decided to leave the city and start a new life as organic farmers. They started looking for the farm of their dreams, difficult task since most agricultural areas were already seriously polluted or devoted to highly chemical agriculture. In the early 80’ they decided that Le Marche was ideal. Agriculture in this hilly area was still quite “traditional” and Urbino would assure a lively place to live where culture could be found along with beautiful landscapes, surrounded by other beautiful hilltop towns in this region, described as "Italy's best kept secret".
What makes this Apartment unique
QUIET & CULTURE Enjoy Northern Le Marche from your own private hideaway, our apartments are perfectly located for you to enjoy the quietness of the countryside and easily reach all the hilltop towns, archaeological and natural sites. We've been living in the area for a long time and we know a lot about architecture, art, gastronomy and nature and speak good English and Spanish to help our guests get the best from their visit. GREEN HOLIDAYS If you are concerned about sustainability Valle Nuova is the perfect place to stay: all the electricity for the apartments and the farm is self-produced through our photovoltaic panels (located on the roofs of the cow-shed, barn and stables) and we produce more (for a further 50 households aprox). We use renewable sources for heating and hot water, we grow organically and we applied all the possible methods for energy and water consumption.

We spent a wonderful week in this gorgeous apartment. Very clean, modern, roomy. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you can want to make some wonderful meals. The bedroom and bathroom are large and comfortable. The view is to "die for" - gorgeous countryside! It is close to so many gorgeous little villages and some fabulous restaurants. Giulia is a wonderful hostess and will help with any questions. Also together with her mother, great cooks, as we enjoyed a meal there as well.
Would love to come back many times!!!
Fabulous location for visiting Le Marche region
My husband and I spent a week at the apartment in October 2012 and it was the highlight of our Italian vacation. The apartment is located on an organic farm at the end of a dirt road. It was clean, private and just a fabulous location. The kitchen is fully equipped and we enjoyed breakfast, picnic lunches, and afternoon cocktails on the patio.
There is a 4-mile beautiful loop through the farmland that Guilia mapped out for us and we walked it a couple of times. We had dinner one night at the main house with a couple of other guests (who have stayed there multiple times) that was delicious and included the farm's organic beef, veggies and homemade liquors after dinner.
We also spent a day on a wine and olive oil tour and lunch that Guilia arranged with Marco of Marco's Way which was another highlight of our visit. This area of Italy is not overrun with tourists and is just as beautiful as Tuscany with rolling green hills and small ancient hillside villages. It was very easy to get around and explore. We highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again!!
