Stratton Landmark 409 - Stratton Mountain Village Review
Fabulous property! This ski chalet themed property is nestled in the heart of Stratton Mountain Village and offers a fairly tale like setting that suits any occasion for couples, families and children of all ages. Beautiful lodge style living room with fireplace overlooking Stratton Mountain. Private bedrooms, two large bathrooms, beautiful kitchen, accommodations for 11. Loved the bunk bed room! We had an amazing anniversary weekend - in walking distance to shops, ski slopes, gondola rides, hiking, restaurants, etc. It was like living in a painting for the weekend! Thank you so much!
We enjoyed staying at the Landmark while visiting Stratton mountain for a family wedding. The condo was roomy and comfortable, with a wonderful jet tub to relax in. The location of the condo was right near the chapel.
However, the hallways in the Landmark were uncomfortable hot. When I asked a staff member why, he said they needed to keep the heat on for the sake of the daycare facility. He suggested that we open the windows in the hallway. This seems like a terrible waste of our natural resources.
Once inside the condo, we did open all the windows and we were comfortable for the two nights. The condo does not have AC or screens in the windows. This could be a safety hazard for families with young children. Luckily for us this time of year meant little to no bugs flying in. The only other thing we would recommend is that you install curtains in the downstairs bedroom. We were looking forward to sleeping in each morning but instead, we were awake each day just after the sun rose.
Jean, we are sorry the hallways were warm. We really have no control of this but are sorry it made you uncomfortable. We appreciate your comments and suggestions. We look forward to hosting you again. Thank you.
