Guestbook comments from the owner

We enjoyed our first trip to Austin. Our once-a-month get-aways have been Dallas, BUT now it's Austin. We loved the cottage home the best. It was wonderful to come "home" and rest in the hot tub and then go out to nightlife and return back "home." No more hotel stays for us!…We will be back!

Great cottage in ideal location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this great cottage when we were in town for a UT football weekend. The location was perfect for getting to the campus as well as wonderful restaurants & shopping on South Congress. The neighborhood is a wonderful place for walks and picnicking. Although our favorite spot in the entire neighborhood was the back patio at the cottage. We enjoyed breakfast and evenings out by the pond. The house had everything we needed - comfortable beds, room to relax and visit, cookware to prepare breakfast for the patio and an ipod docking station and speakers to enjoy our music. Would highly recommend this great vacation cottage.

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home for 3 months, waiting for our condo to be completed. Walk to South Congress with lots of shops and restaurants. The house has everything you will need to prepare meals. Extremely clean when we arrived, easy access and great communication with the owners. The outside areas were nice, but we were there during the winter, so didn't get to use them much. The hot tub you can use anytime. An elementary school is directly across the street, which gives you access to multiple playgrounds and grassy areas. Great walking paths for our dog. However, the street parking (driveway is extremely narrow and directly uphill) can be an issue during drop off/pick up, but very easy to work around (8 a.m. & 3 p.m.). Also across the street is a public pool, where swimmers were doing laps everyday. Very homey!!

This is a great property. It exceeded our expectations.

I love Comfy Cozy Cabin and will stay there again. The house has beautiful landscaping and the updating to the interior has been well executed. The house has great air conditioning, super high speed internet, a big screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and is cleverly decorated.

I highly recommend it!

cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin. It was central to all the places we wanted to see. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We took advantage of the Hot tub which was kept up very well. The outside patio was a nice to place to relax and afternoon cocktails. Jacob quickly responded to any questions had. We would recommend the cozy cabin to anybody that is visiting Austin.

Great location and cozy accomodations

  • 4 of 5

My family of 4 stayed in the Comfy Cozy Cabin for a week. "Comfy Cozy Cabin" is the perfect description for this house. It had nearly everything that we needed and most ammenities were higher quality than you typically find in a rental. The location is what really made this place perfect for us. Big Stacey pool is right across the street. With 2 small children, having a pool and playground so close made our stay so much easier. The neighborhood is chill and many restaurants, shops and parks are within walking distance. Jake was very responsive to questions. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.
