Fun in Montgomery

We had a great time and the property accommodated us well. The host was super responsive. We were there for a wedding and needed the space to dress and it worked well. Neighborhood was nice and we felt comfortable taking walks. We'd stay again!

Wonderful home...Bad cleaning

Beautiful property, but need to have up to date furniture and better cleaning of the house. The bed upstairs wasn't cleaned. Dog hair was all over the bed. I had to clean all of the linen before we went to bed. The check in was not right the house we was booking on line....Someone else was in it. Then the condo he sent us to someone else was booked with the same property and walked in on us while we were sitting in the living room watching tv. Then he had to accommodate the other guest to another condo which he was doing a open house on. This could have went badly but they were very understandable. Anything that we call the host about he was very nice and in the end he was very helpful on the things that we call him about. Great host but needs better planning on booking. My family and I really enjoyed the trip overall.

Gymnastics meet

We enjoyed our stay. This is an older property and maybe could use some new paint. That being said all the important things were perfect! Beds were comfortable with nice linens. Big fluffy towels. Good hot water and water pressure. The property is large! There are plenty of spaces to sleep for adults and children. All the TVs worked well and plenty of reading material. Look around and find some treasures of vintage furniture and some pieces of interesting art work. The very best part is the departure instructions!!! Simply lock the doors and safe travels. How refreshing. We always treat anything we rent like we would our own but it was so refreshing not to be having to start laundry, trash etc... before leaving. So many places charge you a big cleaning fee and you are instructed to do some of their work. Kudos to the management/owner. We would stay again.

Worst in 15 years of VRBO rentals

It's a long list but highlights are: plugged sink in bathroom upon arrival, condo not cleaned prior to arrival, bedroom shades broken so we had to use plastic bags for privacy, back patio cushions and deck had so much mold/mildew we couldn't use it. I communicated all this to the owner and he fixed the sink and some shades while we were there - I also recommended that he take this old property off the VRBO market until it was fixed up enough to rent out. The location is good and space is enough for 2 or 3 groups to enjoy.

This is a relatively large property at a very good price on one of the most prestigious streets in Montgomery. It is convenient to the state capital, downtown, and Maxwell Air Force Base. Perfect for families traveling, and for longer stays for business and education. It features 3 separate work stations. Parents with small children will find the large master suite very desirable. It features a day bed with trundle as well as an alcove with a children's bed.
