Best Value on the Mountain!

Second time staying at the bunkhouse and I'm just as pleased as the first time! Perfect spot for our annual guy's trip with 8 grown men being perfectly comfortable.

Little room you walk into from the front door has boot and glove driers, and it's own little heater that is awesome!

Just a few steps away from the front door is a neat little trail that takes you right down to the slopes - very convenient.

Def be staying here again!

Loved the Bunkhouse! Plenty of room for everyone to hang out together or have their own little nook. We were able to strap on our skis at the end of the parking lot and ski to the slopes and walk back up to enjoy lunch. We had deer at the back door! Loved that our skis, snowboards, and boots could dry in the heated entry area. Experienced 26 inches of snow! This is the place to stay!

What a fabulous and restful time we had at "The Bunkhouse!" With plenty of room for even three moody teenagers to have their own corner of the house after a long day on the slopes, we all felt that the accommodations were perfect. A warm breakfast prepared in the well situated kitchen with all the conveniences of home and a sizzling fire to return to each day, we all are already planning our next trip. Thanks "Bunkhouse!"

We loved everything about the bunkhouse! Very accommodating, plenty of space for 7 of us guys. Great location! You can strap in 20 ft from the front door and ride to the lifts. The shuttle picks up/drops off right in front of shamrocks so it was very easy to get to silver creek for the night runs. We had a blast and would definitely stay at the bunkhouse again.

We had an awesome time at The Bunkhouse! It was perfect for our group! The location was ideal! We could walk outside and be on the slopes in 1 minute. It was an easy walk to town or to the shuttle. Owner were great to work with. We'll definitely be back! Thanks!

You'll have plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, any time of the year! There's mountain biking & hiking trails. Enjoy the Cass Scenic Railroad or the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad. Enjoy golfing, canoeing, and fly-fishing. Check out the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, which is 'home to the largest fully steerable dish in the world.'

Here for the snow? There's skiing, tubing, snow-shoeing. No need for the bus or your car once you get here - you can hit the slopes just out the door. Ski down the path to the Powderidge Trail, or walk across the street to the Western Territory. It's just a short walk back from the Powdermonkey & Western Express lifts.

Other Activities: Snowboarding, Snowmobiling, Wildlife Viewing
