About Owner/Property Manager
We live in Vancouver, but have our hearts in St Stephen. The community here is remarkable. We are lovers of old houses which can be restored to their former glory. The quality of the builds 100 years ago is unmatched by anything today.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this House in 2015
Why Owner/Property Manager chose St Stephen
We bought this property in this community and like to spend some time there in the summers.

Loved this property it was warm and inviting and had an old nostalgic feel to it because of the age of the home. The owner, Diana, very wonderful lady and accommodating. Go back to St. Stephen again I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Diana for the use of your home.
We stayed for 5 nights, no complaints to do, all was as described and very clean. Brand new appliances, we missed nothing. Very quiet surroundings. One day trips to Eastport for lobster, St-Andrews, St-John then Blacks Harbour for the ferry to Maman Island (this one is a must)

Better than a home away from home!
Amazing, fantastic, clean, comfortable, marvelous, remarkable or better yet just google adjectives for AWESOME and all of that describes our families stay at this home. St. Stephen is a beautiful spot, and my only concern about writing this review, is that by telling you how GREAT this property is, it won't be there the next time we visit and I want to stay here again.
3 kids, 4 adults, and one of the BEST places we stayed during our vacation was this property on Dow.
The hosts were easy to get a hold of before we got there, and there was absolutely no need to contact once we were there. It has everything we wanted and more. Updated and modern kitchen, washing, and bathrooms. Comfortable and antique looking living room, dining and entertaining areas.
Board games and books galore! A stone's throw away from anything you want to visit, see, or do. We really cannot explain enough how much this property had EVERYTHING we needed.
There was sugar in the pantry and towels in the closet. We walked in and it was like our home from start to finish. The kids could play in the yard, while we BBQ'ed on the desk, ended the evening playing cards, scrabble, or the scruples game of 2019 that will forever be known as the adults favorite!
We honestly feel like 2,000 words couldn't tell you enough about the house. Go, stay there, strike up a conversation with the neighbor who likes to walk his dog over to say hello. Pop into the local Guardian Pharmacy and get a new mug, or a special gift for someone. Then, end the day with the best coffee in town, as suggested by the manager of this property (and they weren't wrong), go to Something Brewing on Main Street - side note: get a pastry too!
Enjoy, fall in love with the place, kick back and just RELAX, but most of all leave it as it is and have it ready for when we return next summer. You will be the 1st calendar we check for availability! Thank you again and again. From our family to any of yours.
Super nice house in a quiet small town
The stay at Diana's house was very nice. Very nice home. Spacious enough for 7 people. I would certainly go back.
Thank you very much to the owners for the cleanliness of their installation as well as for all the accessories provided (bedding, laundry, kitchen equipment). The size of the rooms and the furnishings were great. Beautiful outdoor terrace, lots of sun, many places to rest. Very quiet area. We had an excellent stay!
We are delighted your stay in our home blessed you.
Lovely, very complete house, perfect to recharge.
On our tour of Quebec/Atlantic Provinces we decided to pass through the US on the way back. We decided to spend some time at the border to do our paperwork beforehand, and I am glad we did. Saved us some time on our day of departure.
This is the type of house that makes you love using HomeAway: you use a very nice house, the owners used to live there, with their books, furniture, personal details. You really feel a welcome guest at their place.
We enjoyed the nice weather, eating on the deck, strolled across the bridge into Calais, USA to prepare our paperwork, drank coffee at the river, bought some fresh vegetables.
We had very good contact with the owner, he helped us to get the wifi working.
