Royal Suite Penthouse, Whistler 5 BR/4 BA, Private Hot Tub

Bedrooms 5
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

About the property

Condo, 5 Bedrooms + Den, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 14)

'I'm the King of the castle!' you'll be singing from the rooftop hot tub in this grand and spacious penthouse, the largest suite in the village. But, please resist throwing frozen chickens down at the commoners (don't ask). Did we mention it was big? Renters are required to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Homes are patrolled regularly and disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Please review the contract carefully prior to booking.

Penthouse of Royal Bank Building, Main Village. 4-minute Walk to Whistler Gondola.

Sleeps 13, 9 beds, 2 Sofa Beds

BR1: King or 2 Twins, Ensuite

BR2: King, Ensuite

BR3: Queen

BR4: Twin Bunk Beds and a Twin

BR5: 2 Doubles + Ensuite

Den: 1 Queen Sofa Bed

This suite is very conducive to socializing for large groups. The great room seats twelve around the gas fireplace and twelve at the dining table. The den has a large picture window and is set up as a second living room, but as it has a door, it easily converts to a bedroom for four. At the end of the day, relax those muscles in the sauna, steam room or private roof-top hot tub, where you'll 'ooh' and 'ah' at the view of Whistler and Blackcomb mountain. Consider the Royal Suite if you are looking for a large unique unit in the heart of Whistler Village. But no parties. Kidding!

Awesome Location-perfect layout

  • 5 of 5

My colleagues and I have rented the Royal Suite twice now for a Whistler getaway. The suite is awesome! The layout is fantastic for entertaining, cooking and socializing as it's very open and huge. The service has been excellent both times. The place is very clean, spacious and the beds are really comfortable. We of course love using the hot tub and enjoy the unreal view! This is located in the village but not directly on the stroll (1 min walk) which means that it's a lot quieter than most places I've stayed at in Whistler. We are really looking forward to our next team-building weekend and I would recommend this suite to anyone! Thanks again Whistler Wired! See you again this Fall!

The Royal Penthouse Suite was way more than we were banking for. We have a women's group that has come up to Whistler every year since 2002 and this place has been the best by far!

There were 10 in our party and easily room for two others. I loved the super friendly and attentive management from the initial contact to the condo tour to taking care of a little housekeeping hiccup. Clear communication and a little humor go a long way. And, we were allowed to check in early--bonus!

The kitchen was indeed, well stocked and roomy enough for all of us to maneuver around.

The location is perfect--walking distance from most shops/restaurants and the lift (even for the skiers).

The hot tub was easy to work, ready to go upon arrival and the views were amazing.

The sauna was quite nice too. You've got to look behind the main door to the steam room....and there it is!

Fyi; the room with the Queen bed doesn't have a window, but that wasn't an issue for us.

The sauna light was on the fritz, but again, the management had fast response time.

Also, the bedroom on the top floor got pretty hot, & we had a little trouble w/the thermostat, so we just opened the door. Didn't contact management on that one.

This place has held up well through it's years of wear/tear. No complaints about the bed quality, sofas, kitchen gadgets, etc. We didn't really use the tv, but there is a small speaker system that has a blue tooth and usb connection. It wasn't compatible with my older Ipod, but we had a backup travel speaker, so no worries.

Love the private elevator! Okay, we loved a lot about this place.

Thanks Whistler Wired Crew!!! We may just be back next year....

Great for large groups

  • 5 of 5

This place is perfect for a large group or multiple families with young children. It has 5 bedrooms. You can fit lots of people. Large enough for the kids to be able to run around a little bit. It's location is great. It's located on the edge of Whistler village. Close enough to everything, but far enough that you won't be hearing all the noise from the crowds at night. About a 5 minute walk to the main Gondola. Great for the kids. There are 3 free parking spaces in the garage. There is a garage literally attached to the building where you can pay $10/24 hours. It's the only house/condo in the building. The bottom floor is RBC (Royal Bank of Canada). Above that is the Whistler Wired office and some restaurants. Subway, Harajuku (Japanese) and an attached small Japanese market. Across the parking lot is a grocery store. The rest of the building is your condo. Your kids can be almost be as loud as they want and no one would care. Hot tub is great, especially after a long day on the slopes. Only drawback is that you have to walk through the master bedroom to get there. Didn't get to try the sauna, but they have one. They have plenty of storage area for boards/skis/boots. Lot of hooks everywhere to hang sweaters and jackets. There even is an elevator that comes up to your condo from the garage. Each room has a separate thermostat so you can personalize your temp.

The condo shows its age in some areas, but otherwise has been nicely updated/renovated and well maintained. Will definitely be staying here again if we come with a large group.

Great Location, Great Accommodations for large groups

  • 5 of 5

This was our groups first time to Whistler so we didn't know much about location, but we knew we wanted to be in Whistler Village. The Royal Suite exceeded our expectations when it came to location. I really think this is probably the largest place you can find so close to the mountain. We were in walking distance to lifts and restaurants, so it was perfect for our group of 11. There was no need for a car once we were there. The suite itself was really nice and spacious. It has a really big living room/dining area that fit us all comfortably. The roof top hot tube was really nice after skiing and had a beautiful view of the mountain. Overall we had an exceptional time and would definitely rent this suite again. Also, Whistler Wired, the management company was really great and helped us make dinner reservations, reserve ski's and purchase lift tickets. Their office is just below the suite and they were available to answer questions as needed.

This place is massive and with a big group of 12 - we still had so much space. Such a unique property and the VILLAGE LOCATION could not have been better, nothing was more than a couple of minutes away!

We rented 2 cars for a week thinking we'd need it - the cars didnt move once!.. next time we'll just get the private transfer for the group and we'll save money.

Roof top hot tub was ace and the views of the mountains was awesome a great way to finished off a big day on the mountain. Thanks guys - everything was amazing!
