I grew up on the property where the Farmhouse is located. In fact, the Farmhouse was my childhood home. After graduating high school I moved away, enjoyed a career in banking and raised my family. When I retired, my husband and I moved back to another home close by and less than a year later were able to purchase the property where the Farmhouse is located.

Why Louedith Watkins chose Candler

The Farmhouse was my childhood home. After retiring, and moving back to another home on the family property my husband and I were fortunate enough to acquire the property where the Farmhouse is located. We decided to offer the Farmhouse for guests to enjoy. We continue to make improvements to the property, adding interesting outdoor activities along the way.

What makes this House unique

You will definitely enjoy the spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the swing and rocking chairs on the front porch as well as the spacious back deck. It is a common occurrence to see deer roaming the property. And as many as 7 hot air balloons have been seen in the air at one time. There is lots of space to roam outdoors and the recently restored barn loft is calling for relaxation and enjoyment. Horse shoe pits are available for your enjoyment and later in the evening there is ample space around the firepit for star gazing while enjoying the fire.
