Enjoy your vacation time on Maui or if you need a place for an extended stay for a fraction of what you would pay at a Hotel. This property is very well cared for, extremely clean and numerous amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers. The bath has a very over sized tiled shower that my tall men just love! The beds are very high quality and extremely comfortable. The kitchenette is well equipped and there is a BBQ/Grill as well on the outside patio. The patio is very private and is like having another room to enjoy and eat meals in the beautiful garden setting! There is free parking in the driveway and free wifi.
This is a picture of me with my two darling grandchildren, Makena & Henry! I'm in love!
I have lived on Maui for over 25 years. I owned and operated a very upscale Guest House in Lahaina for almost 17 years. When I downsized to this beautiful townhouse, I wanted to have one rental because I have enjoyed this business so much over the years. I have met amazing people and have created a gorgeous space for visitors to stay on Maui at a very fair and honest price. I am also a professional singer and actress. I have been cast in many shows on Maui over the years. I take my musical equipment to a Senior care center in Wailuku every month and I sing all the old 'Standards' for them. Their eyes just light up with recognition. I am a very meticulous, clean person and a very detailed person. I also love quiet and respect my guest's privacy to the max. I have one gorgeous daughter who was raised on Maui. She and her husband and my adorable grandchildren live on the Mainland in Texas. I visit them frequently but Maui is a sacred home for me. I never take it for granted and give thanks everyday for the opportunity to live in the most beautiful place, a true paradise!
I have a very thoughtful and caring property manager who looks after everything when I am off island.
A Hui Ho! Julie
Julie purchased this townhome in 2005
It is a lot cooler in Napili than in the heart of Lahaina. I was in Lahaina for 20 years and this is very different living up North. It is so much greener and like I said, cooler. Maui is so small you can get around easy. I suggest staying in one place and rent a car and enjoy the entire island...with the exception of Hana which is a whole day trip!
Beauty, beauty..means everything to me...as does clean, clean, clean and attention to detail! Everything has been renovated and is new. I am a very detailed person and have thought of many amenities to help my guests want for nothing. I am often complemented about this. I have boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas for your convenience. I have created a very thorough guest book you can use for all kinds of suggestions of things to do while you are on Maui. I am also a "Foodie" so I have my favorite restaurants listed for you to try. I am very picky and you should be also. Why spend your time on Maui trying to figure out where to go to eat when I can give you the best suggestions. This property is also not a tourist complex. It will be much quieter than you will ever experience at a full on rental with a bunch of other tourists who can be very noisy. I treasure quiet!
My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights. It blew away our expectations. It was clean with nice upgrades including a quiet new AC unit, big shower, and comfortable king bed. We wish we could take shower back to our house on the mainland. The unit had a nice patio in back that was very private with a table and four chairs. Also unit had beach chairs and beach towels a must when spending lots of time on the beach. The unit is a townhouse and we rented downstairs area but was very quit and hardly ever heard anything upstairs. Julie the owner also brought us banana bread during our stay which was great welcome treat! Everything about this unit was well done! We will be back!
My teen-age daughter and I just spent Spring Break on Maui at Julie's condo. This was exactly as pictured. Very clean and Leanne upstairs waited up late on Easter Sunday to check us in. This condo is among full-time local residents, so we were literally the only tourists around! Beach towels, new beach chairs, boogie boards and a rolling cooler were available for us to use and certainly made our days at the beach easy. Snorkel gear rentals are easy to find and the local grocery/drug store is a 2 minute car ride away. We will never forget swimming with the sea turtles, the beautiful sunsets and whale watching. Mahalo Julie :)
What a great find in Maui! Typically we book a resort and this was the first time that we booked a condo--it was one of the best decisions for our trip! Julie met us the first evening to show us around, and she also brought banana bread (such a treat after a long day of travel). The property was lovely--quiet, clean, and had all of the amenities of home. It was within walking distance of beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Julie is fantastic, she responded quickly to any concerns and questions, and made sure that our stay was comfortable. Mahalo for the wonderful memories!
We had a wonderful time in Maui and we were so lucky to have booked this Jewel! We arrived very late in the evening but the property manager who lives upstairs stayed up to wait for us and show us the apartment. She even followed up with a call the next day to make sure we were ok and suggested places for us to have breakfast. Julie also checked in with us to make sure we were ok since she wasn't around to say hello...a day later we also received banana bread delivered to our door! Definitely not expected but such a kind gesture! The pictures shown of this place was exactly how it looks and so true to the warm cozy feeling you get when you are there. The bed was very comfortable and every room was so clean. The patio was very convenient and we were able to have breakfast outside every morning. And yes, great part was that we were so close to the beach...just a 5 min walk down the street. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels were all available which made it so convenient for our daily trips to the beach. We hope to visit again someday.
This place was beyond our expectations... My friends at the resorts were jealous, who needs room service when you can make your own light breakfast and walk to the beach...my 10 year old daughter loves this place as well as the wife and I... Hope everyone has great memories here as we did and hopefully a few more.. MAHALO.
We had a wonderful time here - so close (walking distance) to Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay, and a short drive to many other amazing beaches. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, it's far from the fray of the big hotels and resorts. That's a plus! Julie met us and showed us around, and everything we needed was there. Fridge, beach chairs, boogie boards, laundry room. SO CLEAN!!! The Napili grocery store is a quick ride (or walkable, about 1.5 miles), and there are plenty of nearby restaurants. Lots of room to store leftovers. Easy walk back to the beach to watch the sunset (or stay all day). We've been to Maui many times and it was great to find true peace and quiet, a big comfy bed, and privacy. Thank you, Julie!
The 'Jewel of Napili' is located 2 blocks up from beautiful Napili Bay. This is a breath taking beach where you can see turtles frequently. This area is also used for teaching people how to scuba dive. It is a popular snorkeling beach and body surfing beach. Right on Napili Bay is the best breakfast establishment on our entire island. Gazebos is owned and operated by my old neighbors Jerry & Lucy. It is so popular that there are people lined up at 7am to get into the restaurant when it opens at 7:30am. The line will continue until they close at 2pm...but it is well worth the wait. The views are amazing and the food is divine and so very reasonable. I highly recommend you try Gazebos once at least. You will be hooked!
