Winter is great time to visit these national treasures, red rocks are spectacular with a dusting of snow! The nearby Manti-LaSal Mountains offer summertime mountain biking and hiking as well as cross country skiing on set tracks and backcountry powder runs in the winter. Check out Moab's new 18 hole Frisbee golf course too! Little kids can learn to pedal on the paved Mill Creek Parkway and bigger folks can head up the nearby Sand Flats Road to the world famous Slickrock Bike Trail. About Kel Darnell
Hi, Here is a picture of the owners, Kim and Eddie, doing one of the things they love best, hanging out on the slickrock. Kim is the Executive Director of the Moab Trails Alliance and spends her time writing grants to fund more non-motorized trails in the Moab area. Check out the bike/pedestrian bridge across the Colorado River and the paved path system that links downtown Moab to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks as well as many popular BLM sites. Eddie is an Orthopedic Surgeon from Salt Lake City where he specialized in shoulders for 25 years. Now he practices full time at the new Moab Regional Hospital (2010). Why Kel Darnell chose Moab
While living in Moab since 1987 I have watched and helped this community change immensely. Besides Moab Trails Alliance, my other business is a walk-in camppark for tents only, Up the Creek Campground. There is no other campground like it in town. 132 E Center is a unique property that was remodeled from a derelict building two blocks from Main Street. It houses 2 hotel style suites with outdoor patio seating on the the front side of the building and two deluxe and distinctly different condo properties in the back, complete with a fantastic private oasis garden. This is where I would want to stay if I didn't already live here! P.S. Eddie agrees completely!
What makes this Condo unique
We are locals but we did stay in this lovely condo after we bought it to see if it was as perfect as we thought. Yes! There is no need for a car once you arrive. Everything in town is within walking or biking distance. The backyard, right out the back door, is private and perfect for after activity cocktail hour and grilling. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to whip up a feast. Hate to cook? No problem. Walk downtown and find your favorite restaurant. There are plenty to choose from, anything from sushi at Sabaku (Yes it is good!) to other fine dining at the Desert Bistro. The galleries are loaded with wonderful local artist's work, some of them internationally known, like Tom Till's photography or Serena Supplee's canyon scenes. The music festivals, classical or folk, are first class as well as any theatre event put on by the very talented local pool of actors. Great location and beautiful condo
My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at this condo. We were able to walk to everything - shopping, tourist sights, and restaurants, because of its central location. The place was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Kel gave us recommendations of things to do and places to eat and was so kind and helpful.
Great location, comfortable and very quiet.
Great location and walking distance to downtown restaurants. Quiet and private with a secure patio and parking area. Lock bike storage provided very helpful;. We were able to road ride from the condo to Dead Horse Point on the back streets and bike trails without having to get in the car. I would defiantly return here again.

Great condo in the heart of Moab
We just completed our 3rd stay in this condo. It's in fantastic condition, has everything you need for a comfortable week, and is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. We look forward to our 4th trip next year!
Comfy condo in great downtown Moab location!
Roomy, clean, well maintained condo in a great location in downtown Moab. Would definitely stay here again. Looks like the complex (condos 1-4) would be a good spot for family/friend reunion. Everyone has their own space as well as generous shared space in the backyard.
Airports: 4 hrs from SLC, 2 hrs from Grand Junction, Co. Direct flights to Moab alternate between Denver, CO and Salt Lake depending on the carrier contract that year so ask your travel agent.
Parks: 3 miles from Arches National Park, 25 miles from Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park.
Public Lands: Moab is surrounded by thousands of acres of BLM public lands accessible by the North Moab Recreation Areas alternative transportation system. Most components of the ATS are completed, providing paved paths, bridges and underpasses that encourage visitors to leave their cars parked while they walk or ride a bike to experience some of Moab's spectacular scenery.
