Wonderful, quiet, yet convenient property

  • 5 of 5

Sombrero Peak Casita is absolutely fantastic! The nicely decorated two bedroom casita has everything you need for a comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable extended stay. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials, including a good assortment of herbs and spices. The casita and the grounds on the property are well maintained and simply gorgeous! The location is very quiet, yet convenient to shopping with easy access to main highways. The host is available when you need her, but she gives you plenty of privacy, too. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tucson. Thanks for a great stay!

Very comfortable and Nice Location!

  • 5 of 5

This Sombrero Peak Casita was perfect for my wife and I. We were very happy with the accommodations. It has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. The casita is located in a quiet neighborhood in NW Tucson, and access to all of the attractions in the Tucson area. We just returned from a very active vacation. Hiking is amazing in this area, with mountains on all sides.

We were able to capture a few absolutely beautiful pictures of sunsets right from the yard.

Thanks for a Great Place Chris!

Sombrero Peak Casita stay was comfortable and had amazing views

  • 5 of 5

I wish my trip lasted longer so I can experience more of the Sombrero Peak Casita! It is in a beautiful, easy to find part of northern Tucson which gave me some beautiful views of the sunrises and sunsets. The updated interior of the house was a huge bonus with a spacious living area and kitchen combo, two bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom made it easy to get ready in the morning. I had high speed internet and cable so I was able to stay connected. The side patio was a nice place for me to sit in the morning to drink my coffee and watch the sunrise or adult beverage and watch the sunset (recommended). It is a short drive to downtown Tucson, shopping centers and restaurants or any outdoor activity like hiking or running.

The owners were so welcoming and made sure my stay was comfortable, which it was. I recommend Sombrero Peak Casita to anyone who will be in the Northern Tucson area and I plan on staying here again in the future.

Santa Fe NM

Perfect Setting, Perfect Comfort

  • 5 of 5

We spent the first 2 weeks of March at this casita as a winter break from Santa Fe. We woke every morning to views of the Sonora Desert setting and birds bathing in the fountain. The casita provides a fully equipped kitchen, great beds, reasonably good wifi, and a sparkling pool. Second bedroom would work for a child or other family member and shares bath with main bedroom. Two lovely, covered patios make for pleasant outdoor experiences. We so much enjoyed it that we hope to return next year. This March, temps were in 80s and up to 90F. We're told April is hot in Tucson, but I could imagine being comfortable in this casita with its good AC and pool. ( Pool isn't really warm enough for swimming until late March.) Very quiet , private, and pleasant neighborhood about 25 minutes drive to downtown Tucson. Highly recommended

We did it again!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a second time at Sombrero Peak Casita and it was even better!

It was everything you can ask for in a vacation home -- western facing patio to watch the sun set on the mountains, northern facing patio for morning coffee and to watch the rabbits and quail on their morning escapades, a sparkling private pool with bar-b-que area, private driveway and entry. Inside you will find whatever you need in a fully supplied kitchen; bright clean bathroom with dual sinks and beautiful large shower; sleeping for 3-4 with two separate bedroom areas; even your own washer and dryer!

Roger and Chris make us feel right at home with their hospitality.

Do yourself a favor and book your next vacation to Tucson at Sombrero Peak Casita!

Wonderful stay at the casita! From Kansas.

  • 5 of 5

We have rented the Sombrero Peak Casita for 3 years in a row and look forward to future visits! We always feel "at home" due to the wonderful amenities, the cleanliness, and the beautiful neighborhood. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable, with all the comforts of home. The large patios and the mountain views make for a quiet, relaxing area to enjoy the morning sunrise and view the many hot air balloons that float above this area. The back yard gives you access to a large variety of desert cactus and plants. Hiking in the national park is just a short 15 minute walk from the casita. We highly recommend your stay at the casita! The owners are wonderful people and very attentive to any needs or concerns!
