Property was properly pictured in listing. Serious red rusty water problem. Took 5 days to fix

  • 2 of 5

Serious rusty water problem that took 5 days to fix. Credited for 1 day rent, but was told that it should have been flushed out like several other properties. We were congenial but would not stay at same property. Felt like 5 days of nasty water with adults and children was unacceptable. Should have been resolved earlier and made a priority. Repeat customers is apparently not a priority.

Owner's Response: Water problem was out of our hands, as there were several water pipe breaks on the resort, tried our best to resolve, but once repaired, water ran brown until debris cleared. Would have moved this renter, as repeater's are very important to us, but problem was resort wide at the time. Obviously not acceptable to tenant based on comments, but could not control.

Excellent Family Place

  • 5 of 5

We visited with several adults and two babies, and it was so nice to have the children sleeping on the top level while we enjoyed the common living areas on the lower two floors. Everything was clean and very well taken care of. Would visit again and definitely recommend!

Great Place to Gather Extended Family!

  • 5 of 5

This condo was a great place for the Midwest branch of our family to meet up with the East Coasters. It is close to major highways that made it fast and easy to access from all directions and to get about to places of interest. The fall scenery was gorgeous and the area offered a nice opportunity to take a walk and enjoy the day. We especially liked that the bedrooms were all on separate floors from the living room and kitchen, which made it possible for early risers to not disturb others. The kitchen was well equipped and we especially appreciated that the dining table easily accommodated our group of 10 with room to spare. The living area was roomy, with plenty of seating. We enjoyed the fireplace and the game table worked well as a place to work a jigsaw puzzle. Although the carpets were lightly spotted in places, everything was very clean and we felt comfortable allowing our granddaughter to crawl around the floor. One family member repeatedly commented on how sparkling the windows were. We had seen earlier reviews talking about limited supply of towels and linens, but this problem has been resolved, there was an ample supply of extra sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels. The downstairs was cold, but that was easily remedied using the baseboard heaters. A space heater was also available if needed. Mr. Zorn was easy to work with and responded quickly. We wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Great Property for Our Three Generation Family Group

  • 5 of 5

Our family (6 adults, 4 kids) had a super, long weekend at this townhouse on the coldest days of the year. Ski-in, ski-out made it so easy to ski w/o parents having to drive to slopes; enough difficulty getting 4 kids (ages ranging from 3-10) in their gear without the added hassle of car seats, etc. The townhouse was clean, nicely appointed, and the kitchen was well-equipped, important for our family! And it was spacious enough that everyone felt that he/she had some "personal space".

The rental's description should include the configuration of the rooms; eg, there was one bedroom on ground level that was pretty cold, and the rest of the bedrooms were on the 3rd level, and they were pretty warm! The "game room" on ground level was really too cold to be used at all, granted the outside temps were frigid. Also more than one bath towel per person should be included for an upscale rental, even though there was a washer/dryer. And surely more than one hand towel per bathroom! Our favorite vrbo rental elsewhere had a shelf full of extra towels, so convenient and not a great expense for owners. Other minor details could use some attention, also, such as few-to-zero coat hangers in closets.

All in all, it is a great townhouse, and I would highly recommend it.
