Great Peaceful Stay

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay with family. Enjoyed that our AT&T phones did not work so that we spent family time together playing games. Beautiful view from the dining room and living room each morning.

What A View!

  • 5 of 5

The view is definitely the highlight of this cabin! It's absolutely gorgeous and is viewable from a huge deck or the windows in the living area/kitchen. The deck has gates that enclose it making it great for pets!

There's a small convenience store a few minutes away but if you need an actual grocery store you'll need to drive about 15/20 minutes. It's a pretty drive though that takes you right past the Stecoah Gap. If you go a few minutes beyond the grocery store you'll find great fishing and views at Massey Branch pier.

The kitchen is stocked with so many basics, a bunch of spices, foil/baggies, Tupperware and condiments!

Overall this a beautiful little gem that's ideal for people looking to lay back and take a breather from everyday life! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, Relaxing and Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. Mr. Zarr was quick to respond and the booking process was great. The cabin was just as described but much better than the photos shown here. Thanks so much for accepting our Fur Babies, as they always travel with us. Our whole experience form booking to check out was wonderful. The only negative thing was we had to check out and go back home. We would highly recommend this cabin to everyone we know. Thanks again for sharing your cabin with us.

Beautiful location, well equipped

  • 4 of 5

Property is well located with easy access to activities at the same time being quiet and secluded. The owners are great to work with and have thought of everything you might need for an extended stay including a blender in the kitchen, full size laundry, detergent, plenty of towels, supplies. Nearby Ingles market is great for all the grocery you need to cook with. The carpet has seen some years and needs to be replaced.

Nantahalla Outdoor center is quite close and we enjoyed whitewater rafting, ziplining, tubing. We went to Cherookee and enjoyed "unto the hills" at the outdoor theater.

I would give the property 4.5 stars if we were not bothered by the fleas in the carpet and surrounding areas. My dog who has not had 11 fleas in her 11 years was covered in them. I called Bob & Tasha, the caretaker. Bob was very nice and paid for the medication needed and Tasha brought the medicine to me. But the medicine could not work soon enough. I bathed her twice but the fleas would jump right back on her. We were bitten quite a bit too by them.

Owner's Response: The cabin will remain a pet friendly haven but we will endeavor to control the flea population with the most currently available deterrents. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
