About Jeff Brown
My name is Jeff. My wife Robin and myself visited Ruidoso for the first time December of 2008. We loved it so much we came back with a condo! We are teachers/coaches, and live in Flower Mound, Texas with our now 4 little ones under 6 years! Our motto is R.F.A. Ready for anything!
Jeff Brown purchased this Condo in 2018
Why Jeff Brown chose Ruidoso
We recently had the opportunity to purchase more condos in the complex and take a leading role in revitalizing the area.
What makes this Condo unique
Honestly, it just seems to be the perfect place. It's located in the middle of town right off Mechem. Popular restaurants and hangouts are right next door. Mid-town is within walking distance as well. The view of the Sacramentos is incredible and deer come down next to the complex and relax in the shade several times a week.

Great location, great price, great, responsive hosts!
We would definitely stay at Bandit at Lookout Manor again. It's a condo in a wonderful location, a short drive to everything in Ruidoso. It is NOT in Eagle Nest, it is definitely Ruidoso, no matter what the listing says. Be cautious turning in and out of the complex as the entrance is on a curve. There is a turn lane, which helps. The living/dining area was larger than expected and the dining/poker table and poker chips coaxed us into teaching our two teens how to play. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for simple meals. Washer, dryer, fridge, microwave, stove all worked fine. It did take a bit longer to dry the heavy ski wear items. Great wifi and phone service in the condo, also wide variety on TV. There is a beautiful, working fireplace in main area and a large supply of cut wood on the porch, more than we could have ever used in a week. Both beds were fine. The master bed is very tall. The big black couch has a pullout bed, which was as comfortable as those things ever are. There was a portable crib with ample room left over in the second bedroom. Since we didn't need it, we put the crib into the big closet. We had no issues with noise. Unlike every other rental we've been in, there was a large supply of big fluffy bath towels and also ample kitchen towels. Also provided were paper towels, a few dishwasher tabs and some laundry supplies. Each room had its own thermostat, a nice feature! We booked this trip at the last minute (booked on Saturday for a Sunday arrival) and it was no problem. Our hosts, Jeff and Robin, were easy to contact and very responsive. The condo is not far from Ski Apache. The snowboarding was good, a bit icy which was expected in March. It snowed one day while we were there (on Spring Break!) which was a treat. We rented snowboards, bibs and jackets from the rental shop across the street, so easy! It's just a short drive to any shop or restaurant in town. A 3-screen theater was close by, as was a bowling alley and an Albertsons grocery. We love the downtown area with its cute shops, bars and restaurants. All in all, we enjoyed the rustic, warm, and functional condo. It was a great experience for us and our teens.
Thank you Jill for the thorough review and for taking such great care of our place! I came over to get something after y'all left and it looked immaculate :)
We're so excited to have a chance after 10 years to renovate the complex according to our vision of what it should be- a rustic, upscale, unique family friendly destination!
