Resort Fee is excessive and charge for Pool access?!
The property is a good location and there are several restaurants within walking distance.
The rooms are small and ours had a musty smell. They charge you a resort fee of 25 dollars a day, however they do not provide room cleaning or room services.
They are a typical time share type place. Lots of people trying to sell you on services and tours really don’t want.
They charge you 13.50 per day per person to have full use of the pool and slides. For a family of four for the week this is an extra 350.00.
Was not what we expected
We were really looking forward to staying here with all the amenities described in the overview but were disappointed. First thing when you arrive they try to get you to go to a timeshare presentation, was handed a paper that explained SOME things about the place but very limited. What they don't tell you is that the waterpark is open to the public (we had 2 bus loads of kids dropped off) and you aren't allowed to use the pool without waterpark tickets unless it is after hrs or you pay full price for the tickets. Then when you do go to the pool after hrs it is like going through a maze to get in. Seriously had to go under ropes to get to the pool area and looks as if it is closed due to being roped off. The putt putt, game room and Jimmy Guanas' is in the Holiday Inn, might as well stayed there. No room safe for valuables. There is no housekeeping we had to go get our own towels to replace the ones we used. Was told to sit our used towels outside. Parking is a nightmare very limited parking in their garage with no turn arounds. We had a great time at Indian Rocks Beach but would not stay here again. If you are in the area great food is only a few blocks away at little mom and pop places, (Jakes Cantina-Mexican, Tropical Ice Cream shop, and Slyces-pizza).
