The view is fabulous. Wonderful to sit out side. We were there for a wedding weekend and did have the opportunity to get the kayaks out but I'm sure it's wonderful. The house needs a little TLC.
Nice, convenient river property
Nice older home with many bedrooms in a lovely riverside setting. Very comfortable and well set up.
Wdat a great view of the river
Maria met us there and went over everything with us. The house more than met our needs. The kitchen was fully furnished and the bathrooms were clean and nice. Being right on the river was a plus. The younger family members enjoyed the kayaks. The house was very quiet and we did not hear each other. I would stay there again and highly recommend this house to anyone.
This home is amazing.
Wonderful home and gorgeous yard with awesome river access. Was able to accommodate four families with plenty of room to spare. We will definitely be staying here again.
Wonderful place. We had a great time using the canoe going up and down the river. Only thing was I wished the kitchen was bigger. We love to cook so kitchen was were we spent the most time. Overall it’s an prefect place to spend in the back and enjoy the lovely spring weather.
We've stayed here more than once. Quite neighborhood. We love it. It's a great property.
We love this house. The neighborhood is quiet and you feel secluded but are still close to everything. There are 10-14 of us on any given trip and those houses that say they sleep 12-14 generally have a couple of bedrooms and then one room that sleeps 8-10 with bunk beds and pull out couches. Well our group is all couples. Married couples with an average age in the upper forties. So with eight bedrooms the Gruene River Haven gives us all our own privacy under one roof with a yard and outside area that allows us all to visit together better. Which is the propose if our trip... fun together. Stay here, you will not regret it. Also Maria is the best person I've ever dealt with in renting a house for my group in the 27 years I've been doing it. You just can't go wrong here.
