Enough of the city life compelled me to go live in the wilderness with the sounds of peaceful nature surrounding me 24/7 adjacent to the El Dorado National Forest. Nights are filled with beautiful constellations to explore. Days are filled with nature hikes, wildlife, and bird watching. After owning & operating a business for 25 years in one of the largest cities in the country/world (Los Angeles), I decided to open up my park-like property for guests to enjoy getting perspective, peace, & pause. Privacy and no noise or light pollution are now my priorities in order to further pursue my educational goals. Meantime, I am dedicated to making guests feel welcome in a natural, safe, & serene surrounding during their stays at Bear Creek Lodge.
purchased this Lodge in 2018
Why chose Georgetown
There are many wonderful locations to visit, no doubt! Yet, what separates Bear Creek Lodge from almost all of its competitors locally & world-wide is its 6.5 million square feet of private land to reflect & rejuvenate. Guests have the freedom to explore on the outside and/or stay within the 3,000 sq. ft. living space @ the lodge that is beautifully appointed & immaculate.
What makes this Lodge unique
Those who might be arborists will enjoy the beauty of the variety of different trees on the property. Many trees....far reaching past 100 feet in height. Those who might be star gazers will enjoy the constellations, sans light pollution! Those who enjoy outdoor sports, hiking, rafting, rock climbing, skiing, boating, fishing, etc., will enjoy this location’s close proximity to all of the above. Those who might enjoy wine tasting, gambling, antiquing, exploring historic sites & cities, will enjoy this locale to come home to at the end of their day out. Those who enjoy flying small aircraft & landing in small towns & exploring wooded areas will enjoy this location near Georgetown or Placerville airport. Those who yearn for a quiet respite from their daily lives, will enjoy just being in the lodge & never stepping outside, if they so choose. This property allows for a wide variety of vacation priorities to be explored & fulfilled.
