Had a great time!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at David and Jaquie's apartment for a week and a half over the July fourth holiday and we had a lovely time. The outdoor area was so nice to come home to after a hectic day of sightseeing. We lit candles and enjoyed a few adult beverages while amongst the fireflies. The kitchen had everything we needed. Having an air conditioner & washer and dryer were added perks that turned out to be quite handy. The subway is just two blocks away. If I ever return to New York, I will see if this property is available as it worked out great for my family and myself.

Fantastic home away from home in the heart of BKLYN

  • 5 of 5

David and Jacqui are wonderful hosts---the property was exactly as described---we loved the spaciousness of the apartment, and especially the proximity to the subway. We got to know a couple of the neighbors as well---happy and welcoming neighborhood. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, David and Jacqui!

Authentic Brooklyn Brownstone

  • 5 of 5

We spent a long weekend at David & Jacqui's lovely penthouse apartment. My daughter recently graduated college and my gift to her was her first visit to NYC. This was the perfect spot to hang our hats each night. We stay at many VRBOs, and this one did not disappoint. The photos were spot on, the hosts were very friendly and informative, and most importantly for me, it was VERY clean. The subway was a quick walk, the area felt safe, and we felt a good vibe of the diversities of NYC! I would definitely recommend this place!

Great place in Brooklyn

  • 5 of 5

We had the first (garden) floor of a four story brownstone. Landlord lives on third floor and first and fourth floors are also rented. Our floor contained one very large bedroom, a smaller bedroom with bunk beds, a huge kitchen, a laundry area and a very nice bathroom with claw-foot tub. All rented areas have been refurbished by landlord. Our kitchen area was original kitchen in brownstone but all appliances are modern. Three blocks to "A" train and then 20 minutes to Fulton stop in heart of lower Manhatten. Landlord provided us passes to Brooklyn Museum and Whitney Museum. Thoroughly enjoyed our 11-day stay and will definitely return.
