About Miles

We both have a great love for Santa Fe so we had to have a second home here to escape the Texas heat. Even when it's hot or cold in Santa Fe, it's moderate. It's a place you'll want to return to often because its small size belies the breadth of art, restaurants, and scenic discoveries that abound, most within a 10 minute drive, others as day trips.

Miles purchased this condo in 2006

Why Miles chose Santa Fe

The condo has a perfect location: easy drive to the city and all areas around the city, ample free parking in lot close to elevator, AC in summer and wonderful views. After a long day shopping, hiking, or walking the plaza, it's nice to drive 2-3 minutes to our home out of the fray.

What makes this condo unique

Sweeping view of Santa Fe Mtns. and City. Air conditioned in summer. Laundry INSIDE the condo. TWO flatscreen TV's, digital service, one in Living room and one in the master bathroom. Condo is well-stocked with linens, paper products, and kitchen cooking ware and utensils. You just need your food! Guests love the extensive southwestern art on display and the other southwestern touches in fabrics and art decor, and the leather furniture.

One of the best.

  • 5 of 5

This was the best of all properties we stayed in over a two week road trip. It was on the 3rd floor (it has an elevator) so it was quite with a large terrace that had a scenic view. The decor is southwest and comfortable.

Owner's Response: Perhaps you'll be one of the many guests who return every year to this condo. And if this one is booked, the owners have a sister condo you could check out: VRBO #157170.

Great vacation home

  • 5 of 5

We loved the place had everything we needed including an ice maker. It was very clean, great internet service. The location was great close to highway to go places and perfect to walk to town. Would highly recommend this home and would for sure stay again if we get the chance.

Great location - but, property was not at all clean.

  • 2 of 5

Bed coverlet in one room had significant stains (appeared to be blood) and, other room had sheets that appeared to have blood stains as well and coverlet was torn at top edge. All rugs were in need of vacuuming and tile floors needed to be cleaned as they were stained. The stove's oven light was not working and drip pan was dirty. The condo needs kitchen and dining linens. The lamp in the dining room seemed to need rewiring - 'shorted' out when being turned on.

The window curtains in the master bedroom were pulled away from the curtain rod and were difficult to keep closed at night. All windows were very dirty.

The condo needs to be fumigated as it has ants In kitchen, dining, and living rooms. Wall decor is very clutterred, very distracting as the walls are literally clutterred with 'stuff'.

Location is great and we felt safe. We have stayed in the same complex two times before and only stayed here because others were booked.

With a good and thorough cleaning, fumigation, and declutterring, refreshed/new bed and kitchen linens, this could be a lovely 'home away from home'.

Owner's Response: This condo is very popular (please read more reviews) and we haven't heard these comments before, but we are taking them seriously and looking into each item mentioned, especially anything to do with cleanliness. Our housekeeper takes great pride in her work and has taken care of this condo personally for a number of years. Many guests return more than once a year. We take all comments to heart. I think the "cluttered" look is a matter of personal taste; the condo is hung "salon style," (my business used to be art galleries), and most renters tell us that they love it. The condo is decorated southwest style; it's light and bright and filled with art and is well stocked. We will be sure it is in great condition, including all linens; we assure you it is thoroughly cleaned after every visit. As I said, personal taste may be a factor here, but we will be sure of that.
