'Better Than the Hilton' Best Priced Value in Town

Bedrooms 2
Space 1,125 sq. ft.
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 3 - 6 nights

About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Majestic views from every window, 1125 square feet on one level, a three-block walk to downtown and adjacent shopping for basics make this one the finest vacation condos in town. Our vacation condo home was built in 2004, is beautifully custom-furnished and can comfortably handle several adults or a family with young children. Our guests have told us that this condo is simply first class. By the way, for Starbucks lovers you’ll find it right next door.

A one-level, open floor plan creates a very spacious and comfortable living area that can handle several people without feeling crowded. It is a true 2 bedroom with separate living-room/kitchen (see floor plan) and gives a great deal of privacy to the master bedroom as compared to loft suites.

What a view! Forty miles of spectacular peaks; from Cascade Peak and Mount Rundell in Banff past the majestic Three Sisters in Canmore. As you can see in the photos, from every room the views are stunning. Guests who have stayed at our home have said that neither words nor the photos on the website do these views justice.

The beautiful bow River flows through the heart of town and is a five-minute walk away. There are trails along Policeman’s Creek, just one block from the condo, which provide a wilderness walk right in the town. You will be simply astounded by the beauty of these in-town trails as well as the majesty of the mountains surrounding Canmore.

In addition to the magnificent scenery, Canmore has a wonderful variety of unique, locally owned restaurants and shops. There is no mall with stores or eateries you seem to see everywhere these days. Although the restaurants are great, we find ourselves cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen most nights. A new Safeway and an upscale Sobey’s market are next door. If you do want to eat out, the eateries are a three-block walk away. Also for any hardware or auto service needs a Canadian Tire is right in-between.

The world-famous town of Banff, fifteen miles away, offers many additional shops, restaurants, museums and cultural activities. We provide a family/auto national parks pass at no charge; just leave it in the unit upon departure.

Four downhill ski areas, including world-class Lake Louise, are within twenty to forty-five minutes of the condo. After a day of skiing, coming home to underground heated parking and a rooftop hot tub will add to your pleasure. For your convenience, you can leave your skis in a personally locked storage cage near your parking spot.

For cross-country skiers the Canmore Nordic Center, which hosted the 1988 Olympic Nordic events, is only five minutes away. It offers tremendous Nordic skiing in the winter and world class mountain biking in the summer. A major upgrade of the facility in the summer of 2005 allows it to host the prestigious World Cup every two years. There are 84 miles of groomed track and skate skiing trails several kilometres of which are lit for night skiing.

For you avid golfer's, are you in for the golf experience of a lifetime. There are three simply stunning courses right in town and three other fantastic courses within a 20 to 30 min. drive from Canmore, including the world famous 'Banff Springs' course. If you don't golf it is worth a trip around the course in a golf cart. The scenery is awesome!!!

The Bow River, which runs through the heart of Canmore, offers world-class fishing, and gentle rafting/canoeing in addition to riverside trails that provide enjoyment for all skill levels.

High-speed internet service, with a computer terminal, in the condo provide you with everything you need to stay connected during your stay. You can purchase cleaning through a local professional cleaning company if you wish. Reasonable long distance calling to 50 countries is provided.

Enjoy the two rooftop hot-tubs after a busy day & marvel at the stunning view of the mountains and/or stars. There is also an indoor sauna, hot-tub, and modest exercise room in the complex.

Wow, great condo for 2 Couples!

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect place to stay in the Banff area. The condo was beautiful, well equipped, close to everything. We had our bikes and were able to lock them in the underground parking. Canmore was a really nice town to walk, shop and eat at. We visited the national parks, hiking, sight seeing, kayaking, biking. There was so much to do. We loved our stay. Thanks Daryl

Great property!

  • 5 of 5

Spent Thanksgiving weekend in Canmore for Grizzly Ultramarathon and booked this as our first VRBO property. 3 adults and one infant found this unit to be exceptional! Spacious and very well equipped. Appreciated the underground parking for loading and unloading an infant with all her gear. Proximity to services and stores was great. Clean, well organized with everything we could need. Our only disappointment was the fireplace being turned off until November.....but who would know just how cool and snowy it would be this early in the fall. We used the indoor hot tub and used towels labelled from the condo. The laundry was a big plus especially with the baby. Soap was provided too!! Our needs were very well met in this unit. Thanks Daryle!!

Outstanding location and beautiful views!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience renting a condo through VRBO and I highly recommend this property! I stayed with my husband and 2 adult daughters for a week, and it was a much better alternative than staying in a hotel. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms gave us so much room, and the rest of the living areas were very comfortable and spacious. We were impressed with how clean and well-kept everything was, and Daryl had everything labeled and identified for easy use. There wasn't a thing that we needed! And the included below-ground parking was easy and convenient. The location was great...within walking distance to downtown Canmore, the grocery store, and only a short drive to Banff. And the views out the windows were breathtaking! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Daryl!
