This condo is literally just a few paces away from the bus-stop for the free bus that will take you to the gondola (5 minutes), or into town. Head to the Yampa river core trail, just a few blocks away, for a scenic walk or bike ride along a beautiful paved path that follows the river into downtown Steamboat. It is also easy to just kick back and relax and enjoy the condo's wood-burning stove, access to pool and hot-tub, cable television, broadband internet, and speakers for listening to your own music.

Our condo features sleeping accommodations for up to six adults (7 with children). The master bedroom has a queen bed with high thread-count sheets, a washer/dryer (brand new on Aug. 2016) and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin mattress on top and a full mattress on the bottom and sleeps 2-3 people. Another full bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom. The living room has a pullout queen sofa bed. The condo has a combo washer/dryer unit and a well equipped kitchen.

Start your day with views of the ski-mountain over freshly-made waffles at the sunny dining-room table. Wind down in the evening with a snack or drink at the kitchen bar and curl up to a movie, music or the crackling of the wood burning stove. Bed down in a warm, cozy bed and rest up to start again refreshed the next morning!

Convenient with bus stop right outside door.

  • 3 of 5

Location is very convenient for skiing with bus stop right outside door. Price a bit high but it was Spring Break. A few small amenities would help, napkins, placemats for dining table, tissues, bar soap in bathroom, better lighting in living room for reading. Also noisy from upstairs tenants. Beds comfortable and condo was clean but odor of cleaning fluid or something that didn't seem to go away.

Clean and easy access to ski slopes

  • 4 of 5

Condo was clean w/ comfortable beds and hot tub in courtyard. Stocked with everything you need for a weekend stay. Bus stop was out front door w/easy access to ski slopes. Appliances were older and loud. Building was more locals than rentals and older features (low seilings, wooden toilet seats and carpet in bathroom).

Overall good place to stay for ski weekend.

Good choice for a Steamboat basecamp

  • 4 of 5

4 adults rented this condo for an extended weekend. It had everything we needed to prepare meals. The condo was comfortable and we used the wood burning fireplace almost every night. Noise levels were not a problem, but you could hear footsteps of the neighbors upstairs. It never bothered me though. The city bus is literally right outside the front door - very convenient. The condo itself is nothing too fancy, but it is a solid choice for the price. Thanks!

Great weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was on the south end of town and perfect for the Balloon rodeo event. The bike path was very close and we never had to touch our car. Pool was small, but plenty big for us and very warm!

Great time!

  • 5 of 5

Anything we needed was there! Place was clean and we'll stocked. Only minor complaint was the people upstairs were noisy. Not sure if it's residents living there or a rental too.

Thank you, our family had a great time and would definitely rent from you again!

Not what you expect

  • 1 of 5

We booked this property based on the fact it had a washer/dryer in the unit. We walked in and was checking everything out and the first the we noticed was a sticky note on the washer/dryer combo unit saying out of order. We called the owner and was told it just went out and we could use the coin operated ones in the basement. The basement looks like one from a serial killer movie and I would not leave any of my family members down there to watch the laundry. We were told he would refund us 50.00. We are here for a baseball tournament and need a washer and dryer. We also checked out the pool that was not even filled and it also looks like an oversized bathtub. The hot tub is slightly smaller (than the pool) and we couldn't even use it because there was a cover over it, it was dirty, and not functioning. We were here last year for our family vacation and had a wonderful time but very disappointed this time around. Should have used the same company.

Owner's Response: This condo does contain a combo washer/dryer which has rarely been the source of any problems. In this particular situation, however, I received notice from the previous renters (as they checked out) that the washer had dumped some water on the floor. My plumber could not take a look at the issue for a few days, so I asked my housekeepers to put an "out of order" sign on the washer, just to be safe. Upon checking in, the renters that left this review found the washer was out of order, which was (understandably) not satisfactory to them as they needed to wash uniforms and such for their kids' softball tournament. The only potential solution I had for them was to offer them access to the utility room in the basement of the condo complex which contained several coin-operated washers and dryers. I offered them $50 to cover the costs of the coin-operated machines (and then some). The washers were down a set of outdoor stairs, and the basement is not fully finished, however, so the renters found this solution to be unacceptable as well. Given that the renters were not satisfied with the washer situation and did not believe they could stay in the unit, I offered them a 100% refund of their money. They accepted the refund and found another lodging arrangement. I found out several days later from the plumber that the washer was not actually broken, but had been run with the lint-filter inserted improperly by the previous renters! Concerning the hot tub, it is always kept covered in order to save energy and keep leaves and dirt out of the water. The cover just needs to be pulled off when used and replaced afterwards. The pool is not that large, but is always plenty of fun for young kids in the summer time. It would not be suitable for swimming laps or anything like that. I can understand why these renters were disappointed when they arrived, which is why I offered them a full refund. Malfunctioning appliances are certainly not a normal occurrence in my years of renting this condo out. Not sure I deserved a one-star review here, but I do understand that the condo was not in its advertised state when the renters arrived, which would be disappointing to anyone.
