EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS
In a line ... exceeded our expectations. There were a couple of glitches that took away from the overall experience but none of them had to do with the actual condo unit. If you've never been to Mexico then small little issues that are common - plumbing leaks etc ... are normal. If you are not new to Mexico then these nuiances will not be new to you.
Had exceptional neighbors (who lent us their kayaks - highlight of my trip, kayaking daily with the dolphins), calm warm waters, incredible sunrises and sunsets. AND THEY LOVE DOGS HERE!!!!! We loved it so much we day dreamed about buying a condo for ourselves.
There was an issue with an overbooking and we tried to be accommodating. Deb did right by us and put us up in another condo late in our trip. The low point of our experience was having to move, the dogs needing to readjust, and quite frankly, we were spoiled by Deb's condo and everything about it including its location. The other condo was sub par compared to hers, run down, neighbors not as friendly, no view.
But Deb, we were grateful for our time in your beautiful condo. We will cherish the memories we made with our pups as we had to say good bye to one shortly after arriving home :-(. Very unexpected and still quite devastating, but he had such a great time there!!
So glad you had a wonderful time and had an opportunity to enjoy incredible dolphin experiences in the kayaks. Please know that you are always welcome back. And so very sorry about your fur-baby...it’s is completely devastating to lose one but oh what a life you gave him.

Overall it was a nice unit. We would go back to the Bahia Delfin again without hesitation but would probably look into another unit.
The pro's of this unit were in the amenities and it's decorations. It had a feel that let you know you were in Mexico. There were a few maintenance items that I will pass along to the owner and I have no doubt she will address them such as the front door deadbolt that was very so worn it was difficult to work, the hall bath with a broken handle, both toilets ran unless the handle was jiggled, 2nd bathroom door had to be carefully yet firmly pressed shut to get the throw to hold, master bedroom mattress was extremely loud( from the springs) and needs to be replaced.
Con's that unfortunately are no fault of the owner just due to location. This unit is on the far west side of the property and is about 10' from a public dirt road that leads to the beach. Only separated by a short hedge of bushes it provided no sound barrier. On the weekend the road was in constant use stirring up dust as well as the sound of car driving, doors slamming shut, and sand rails driving through with music blasting and people yelling. All fine and understandable as a day at the beach but got old and definitely not something that has to be tolerated when one building over these issues are not dealt with.
Security was present and friendly. They were prompt to open the front gate and were visible making rounds everyday.
Again we would go back but would rather stay in a different unit not due to anything negative about the owner just the location.
Enjoyed our stay tremendously.
I had a wonderful vacation, the weather was perfect and the condominium very confortable.
There a few things that where not working like the fan on the patio, the sliding door, no knives on the kitchen,
no DVD player and the Dish works only certain times.
It was very clean and comfortable beds
I will defently will came back.
The condo complex is beautiful, the grounds are impeccable it's too bad the pool wasn't open. It's was getting a refreshed look and new tiles. Condo #169 was real nice, the owner is going to take care of some items that need attention.
