We love Rome.... we are busy holidaymakers so need a comfy restful place to retreat to after busy days. Roberta has a way with her style and attention to detail to providing just this and her apartments always seem to be just right: starting with a very comfortable bed! We loved our stay at this central, quiet, restful apartment. The elevator is essential with luggage, the apartment is well stocked for any eventuality and the location makes Rome so accessible. Loved discovering the Rome Metro just up the road in Piazza di Spagna... thank you Roberta!!
Thank you for your nice words! It has always been a pleasure to welcome you!
Hope to see you soon back in Rome!
The apartment is beautiful and in a perfect location. Roberta could not have been more helpful. She even came and got us when the cab driver dropped us off at the wrong address. We would stay here anytime we come to Rome. Couldn’t ask for more.
Great location, clean and comfortable.
Great location, clean and comfortable. Would have appreciated another role of TP or two, otherwise all was good. Thank you.
Hello. The standard supply is 1 TP per person which usually is enough for a few days staying. Thanks anyway for your tip.
We loved staying here for our few nights in Rome! Roberta was so helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. She helped arrange transportation for us to and from the airport too. The apartment is lovely, the perfect size, and had everything we needed. It also had a lift, which is extremely convienient since the apartment is many flights up! Above all though - it’s an excellent location. Wonderful, wonderful place to stay!
Mostly really good
This little apartment has a name: I Nonni (The Grandparents). I don't know why it has that name, but we ARE grandparents. . . .
The apartment is small, but decorated in a pleasing, intelligent manner that makes good use of the space. The kitchen is sufficient for ordinary cooking -- not for big dinners, but who worries about that while on vacation? The bathroom has everything needed, even a bidet, though everything is squeezed in pretty tightly.
Some have mentioned street noise, but we weren't bothered much by that. The nearby busy street -- Via del Corso -- is not close enough to the apartment to be heard very well. What can be heard is happy chatting by people eating outdoors at a restaurant a few doors away on Via Gesu e Maria (the narrow old street where I Nonni actually is located). The restaurant noise sounds cheerful and normal, and can mostly be heard only in the kitchen and the bathroom.
That brings me an issue -- this apartment is actually in a way a "loft". It's at the top of the building. Whether for security purposes or some other reason, all the windows are up high, some are very small, and you can't see out. At all! That actually feels weird enough that I took off a star for it.
The elevator and the A/C work fine and are very nice to have. Overall it's a nice place to stay.
Great Flat in a Great Location!
My wife and I spend 8 nights here to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The place was excellent as it met all of our needs. It was cozy but much better than a cramp hotel and the price was affordable. Many of the main sites could be walked to or two metro stations were easily accessed. The kitchen was perfect as we stored water and milk for our breakfast. The living room had a nice sofa to kick up your feet. The shower as a litlle cramp but space is at a premium and not an issue. Overall, a great experience and I would stay here again and recommend to others. Roberta, the owner, was great to work with, gave us some great restaurant recommendations, and helped us get taxis to and from the airport which I think was golden, especially leaving Rome.
The property is located between Piazza di Spagna e Piazza del Popolo. Few steps from the building there are: supermarket, pharmacy, subway, bus service, taxi service, famous restaurants, bars. The property is nearby Via Condotti, Via Margutta, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Venezia, Ara Pacis, Pantheon
