Perfect Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four stayed here for a snowboarding weekend. The house was absolutely perfect. Comfortable, inviting, had absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, there were two "living rooms" which we loved. The hot tub water was perfectly clean and the temperature was perfect! All in all this was the most perfect home we have stayed in. Britt and Maggie were wonderful hosts. There was a huge snow storm during our stay and the highway was closed. Britt and Maggie allowed us to stay at a very reduced rate and were so very understanding and accommodating. We wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Tahoe/Homewood area.

Great experience!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The owners were very responsive and had the home ready for our arrival, including having the driveway cleared of snow. The signs around the home made it easy to understand how things worked. We couldn't have picked a better place to enjoy our Thanksgiving get away! We would love to rent this place again!

Very nice cabin. Such comfortable bedding and lovely outdoor areas

2690 Shady Ln. is in a good location with access to a small playground at community center and interpretive-type walking trails just beyond the center. A short walk south on 89 is where we accessed beach area...this is a rocky beach, not sandy. Very quiet at night without any noise from Hwy 89. The house is very comfortable and the kids will love the back bedroom with the built-in bunk beds!

Wonderful summer cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Previous review nails it on the head! We also loved the great kitchen, accessibility of the spa, secluded location, adjacency to national forest, greenery of currents and yummy thimbleberries out every window! Our kids loved the unique floorplan and "secret staircase". Beautiful neighborhood and quick drive to Sunnyside for dinner. We will definitely be back soon! A treasure!

Cozy Tahoe getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This is the place to get away from it all! It feels remote and peaceful, even though you're right around the corner from Tahoe City and the best skiing. The comfortable clean cabin has a great "old Tahoe" feel without all the clutter - and the kitchen is fantastic! We had 2 ovens to feed the whole crew. Enough towels and linens and the best old school VHS system with some favorite classic movies. It was hard to leave curled up in front of the gas fireplace, but we made it out to Squaw and came back for a hot tub, literally right out the back door. Britt the owner made sure we had the best possible stay. We already have plans to be back!
