Convenient and super nice people
The flat is very conveniently located in the center of town and right across the street from Tesco. Sam is very kind and accommodating and we appreciated his help during our visit.
Thank you very much for your kind words.
Great location and comfortable accommodations!
We couldn't have had a better location! It was so close to the downtown area, and many dining options, as well as a grocery right across the street! Sam was very communicative with us and was right on time to get us settled in. We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends traveling to Scotland!
Great Location For Exploring! Great Host!
The property is located, literally, across the street from a good supermarket with everything you need. It is a 7 minute walk to the Rail and Bus stations, making it an ideal "base camp" for exploring both Stirling, and the surrounding areas.
2 bedrooms and one bath, well appointed for preparing your own meals, and doing your own thing. The wifi worked well. We channel surfed a bit on TV, and struggled a little bit with the channel selection, but we didn't really want to watch TV anyways.
We couldn't find the hairdryer, and thought maybe it had been removed by the previous guest. We contacted Sam, and within the hour, his son (and family!) were at the apartment, and located the hairdryer...simply in a place we had not expected it to be (nightstand drawer).
Everything worked well, the apartment was very tidy. It has a shared garden with the neighbors, and it is in a quiet part of town, despite the close proximity to the store and the trains. Everything within the Town of Stirling was an easy walk (by "easy", I really mean "close"....everything in Stirling is uphill, and not a little bit, but you at least get to come down at the end of the day).
Would recommend, and will be contacting Sam, should we return to the area!
spacious flat, well furnished and maintained. well situated centrally.
We had a great weekend in Stirling at this accommodation. The flat was excellent and the owner was very helpful. Plenty of room, good kitchen, spotlessly clean.
We hope to return next year.
Old building but relatively new everything. Directly across from Tesco, but still quiet. Good location. Nice landlord. Good vibe.
Very comfortable! Great location! Kind host!
It's was perfect for our family of 4. We had room to spread out, a well equipped kitchen, a great bathroom and comfy beds. Plus our host was very welcoming. We were able to walk from our apartment to most of our destinations and having a Tesco right across the street was very handy. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
The Wallace Monument stands proudly and is also well worth a visit. Delve into the history behind William Wallace, Robert the Bruce – King of Scotland and Robert Roy MacGregor. It is only a short drive to the Ochil Hills to enjoy a walk in the countryside or go a little further to the explore the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The Trossachs is an amazing area for outdoor enthusiasts as there are endless miles of forest roads and trails to explore, both walking and cycling. There are many activities for every age and interest including the Blair Drummond Safari Park, the Falkirk Wheel, Knockhill Race Course, numerous golf courses and lochs for fishing or water sports. Stirling has good motorway links to explore further afield – Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Fife can all be easily reached (each less than a hour’s drive away). This is a fantastic central location to explore central Scotland, which has something to offer the whole family or to just enjoy the City of Stirling and all that it has to offer.
