This cabin was even nicer in person than the pictures depicted. The property manager was prompt in responding and messaging us to be sure we had all the info we needed. The cabin is on the water however water level was down in Oct but this was communicated to us therefore this was no surprise. We still walked down to the waters edge a few times and skipped stones while the dogs played in and around the water. This cabin is close to many ammenities. We enjoyed the Titanic museum a half hour away. Another day we went to pigeon Forge to visit Anakeesta. That was pretty cool taking the ski lift up and then having dinner at the restaurant on the mountain top. The cabin itself was very cute and cozy. It could use some cleaning in the corners here and there but overall we thought it was pretty tidy. One big thing we were impressed with was how easy it was to rent this cabin being that we have 4 dogs. They were very accommodating to us and worked with us regarding our pet fees. This was a nice surprise that we really appreciated! We would definitely rent this cabin again if we ever decide to return to the area.
Thank you for your kind and informative review. VRBO does not have a setting for property owners/managers to price each pet automatically so we have to make the arrangements before in a quote or after a booking to get the proper pet fees added. We are so happy to hear that you still enjoyed the lake in the off season and found the home convenient to the area attractions! So much to do, so little time! Hope to hear from you again someday. The Great Smoky Mountains are a mountain range rising along the Tennessee–North Carolina border in the southeastern United States. They are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, and form part of the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province. The range is sometimes called the Smoky Mountains and the name is commonly shortened to the Smokies. The Great Smokies are best known as the home of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which protects most of the range. The park was established in 1934, and, with over 11 million visits per year, it is the most visited national park in the United States.
