Walk to the beach or ride the bikes along a paved bike path to Morro Rock and downtown.
It’s just 5 minutes to restaurants, shops, and the marina on the Embarcadero. It's the perfect location to visit some of the areas best vistas and tourist attractions. Go north on Route 1 to Cambria (10 minutes), Hearst Castle (20 minutes), and the Elephant Seals (30 minutes). Go east toward Paso Robles (25 minutes), and the Edna Valley Wine Regions (30 minutes). Go south San Luis Obispo, Avila and Pismo Beach. The day trips options are endless. But you might just want to relax and rejuvenate in beautiful Morro Bay.
In the master bedroom, sink into a comfy king-size bed and watch your favorite movies on the 20” TV. The en-suite bathroom is bright and modern with a walk-in shower.
The second bedroom has a comfy queen bed. The third bedroom includes two twin beds and a closet full of toys for the kids' or the kids at heart. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower combination.
LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT (Interior)
Two great living spaces, 3D flat screen TVs, board games, and beach toys provide plenty of space, activities and fun for the whole family. In the main living area, open to the dining room, you'll find a 55” TV and comfortable couch and loveseat that provides plenty of space for the whole gang. The second living area has a gas fireplace and a 42” TV. There are also lots of board games and books to keeps the kids entertained. The dining room table seats six and there is a fully equipped kitchen with a brand new oven, a breakfast bar with two stools with views of Morro Bay Rock from all the back windows and the sliding glass door.
LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT (Exterior)
Relax on the inviting patio with fire bowl, BBQ grill, and plenty of seating.
Enjoy al fresco dining on the back patio with a six-burner propane grill and a glass-top dining set for six. Pull up some extras chairs (stored in the garage) for the kids or guests.
After dinner, relax around the modern fire bowl while sipping on some of your favorite libations.
KIDS & SAFETY
For the kids there are beach toys, body boards, beach towels, beach chairs, a beach wagon to bring all the gear to the beach and 2 adult bicycles for guests to use. Please bring your own kids' bikes & bike helmets as none are provided. For the tiny ones, there is a booster seat and a baby monitor.
There is parking for two to three cars in the driveway, with additional street parking not a problem. An extended driveway area is long enough to accommodate an RV or toy hauler.
Stock up on groceries at Spencer's Fresh Markets or do a quick run to the Del Mar Market, both minutes away from the house. Albertson's is also just 5 minutes away for the big shopping trip. If fresh fish is on the menu, Giovanni's Fish Market is the place to go. They have fresh daily catches and just about any fish your taste buds would desire. Take home to cook, take out to eat or let them serve you on their waterfront dock.
There are dozens of restaurants along the Embarcadero...Seafood, Mexican, American. A few of our favorites include Windows on the Water, Blue Sky Bistro, and the Taco Temple.
We provide personal amenities including soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, paper products, kitchen necessities such as dishwashing detergent, dishwasher soap and trash bags. There are plenty of linens, bath towels and beach towels. Laundry facilities and detergent are in the garage. The kitchen is also stocked with plenty of stapes: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, flour, sugar, baking soda and plenty of condiments. There's even a picnic basket ready for the beach. There is dinner service & plasticware for 8 as well as a ton of glassware. The TVs are either hooked up to cable or ROKU. The Family Room is hooked up with a DVD player.
PLEASE NOTE: There is NO AC in the house. We don't need it because we're so close to the beach.
There are lots of activities to experience in Morro Bay... rent a kayak and paddle around the Bay and Rock, take a charter boat out for an afternoon of fishing, or do a dinner cruise with your love that leaves from the marina. Explore the local farmer’s market, selling the freshest produce every Thursday afternoon. Adventure out to visit Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seals in San Simeon. Go shopping in Cambria's artisan shops in both the East & West Villages. Head to Paso or Edna Valley Wine Countries for some local wine tasting adventures. The activities on the Central Coast are endless.
