Comfortably travel back to an uncomplicated time in our recently renovated 1920 Craftsman style home. The furniture is traditional, some are antiques, and all are very comfortable. Amenities are up-to-date, and you are welcome to use everything in the house during your stay.
The custom built kitchen is brand new, with new appliances and all the tools you need to cook and serve. You are welcome to use all the appliances, and you can store the food you get from nearby stores in the refrigerator and pantry. The cabinets are stocked with dinnerware, glasses, cups and mugs. In drawers and cabinets you'll find the utensils, flatware, pots, pans, and other things you'll need to make and enjoy a homecooked meal.
The dining room features a beverage station with dual coffee maker (single-serve k-cup and multi-cup carafe), a selection of coffees and other beverages.
in the 3 bedrooms, we have 4 beds - a queen, a full, a single, a rollaway single, and a Pack-n-Play for infants. Roomy closets and dressers are yours to unpack, hang out, and organize your clothes and belongings.
The four-season sun porch, furnished with country-look wicker furniture, is a wonderful place to enjoy your coffee, visit with friends and family, read, or just bask in the sun. The south-facing windows keep the room warm and sun-filled, with a little help from a heater in winter.
Across the road, a small woods backs up to a large park, with children's play equipment, and (our favorite) a pond with ducks, geese, frogs, turtles, and red-winged blackbirds. It's great fun to see the new families of ducklings and goslings paddling with their parents in the spring.
Shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and the Mayo Clinic are within a few minutes drive. Convenient public transportation is nearby.
