About Christa Cranston
After quitting our own business (Mark) and corporate job (me) and then selling our home with everything in it, we travelled the US in our motorhome for what came to be 6 wonderful years! We drove our motorhome to Joshua Tree in 2004 to visit friends and never left. It is a beautiful place!
Christa Cranston purchased this House in 2005
Why Christa Cranston chose Joshua Tree
It's seclusion but close proximity to town makes this a lovely location. We love that it sits on a dead end street, never having to see or hear through traffic. Your neighbors are the rocks and mountains this home sits up against. Peace and quiet..

This was our second time staying at this house. Again I was struck with how nice everything is. The setting is gorgeous and the house is lovely and it is equipped with everything you need and more. We had an issue with the hot tub, but Christa was super responsive and bent over backwards to help. Really quality people and property.
We loved this relaxing place, we saw plenty of wildlife. The peace and quiet is just what the Dr ordered.
We had the best weekend at this cozy retreat. Everything was first-class! Thanks!
Thank you for your review Jay, so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to having you back!
Did not disappoint
This was a really nice place in a great location. It was very peaceful and private. This place was awesome for star gazing. The only bummer was many of the lights didn't work. No lights at all in our bedroom. I would definitely recommend this property and would want to come back.
Thank you for your review Sharon, so glad you enjoyed your stay. There are actually several lights in the bedroom (2 nightstand lights and the main fan light above the bed)...sometimes people turn the main light off at the fan rather than turning the light off at the light switch which can confuse things. I wish you would have called or texted so I could have stepped you through how to pull the chain on the fan light to get it working again but glad it didn't take away from your overall experience:) We hope to see you all again!
Just like photos
Deluxe and secluded property, but not far from town
Glad you enjoyed your stay John, we look forward to having you back!
El Coyote was the perfect spot for a relaxing friends getaway. The setting was gorgeous, the house was nicely appointed and Christa was such a responsive host. I can't recommend this property highly enough and would love to come back someday!
Thank you for your review Caitlin! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our El Coyote house, we hope to have you back again!
