Surrounded by the blue ridge mountains, our farmhouse has stunning views. Our 30 acres includes a small winery and vineyard, a stocked fishing pond (largemonth bass!), a unique 9 hole golf course called the Barrelinks, and gorgeous gardens. Take it all in (with a glass of wine, of course) from the wrap-around front porch. A little bit of paradise!
We might live in the mountains, but we're pretty close to civilization. Crozet is 15 minutes away, a small town with a surprising amount of restaurants.
We're 25 minutes from Charlottesville - home to the University of Virginia, with its core campus designed by Thomas Jefferson. On the city outskirts, Jefferson’s mountain-top plantation, Monticello, attracts 500,000 visitors annually. The city is also a gateway to Shenandoah National Park, along a section of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
There are over 30 wineries in the area (with plenty of wine tours available), plus breweries and cideries.
Lots of opportunities for biking and hiking!
