Located on over 10 acres on the Dandelion Farm, the Dandelion Cottage boasts a one of a kind sweeping view of the city of Port Angeles, Victoria B.C. and Mount Baker! Our two bedroom one bath cottage is the perfect location for all of your adventures! We are just minutes to the Gateway of the Olympic National Park Headquarters, Hurricane Ridge entrance, the Fine Arts Center, Blackball Ferry Line to Canada, downtown Port Angeles and the Discovery Trail. We are 20 minutes to Lake Crescent and further on the HOH rain forest to the west and Sequim to the east. A multitude of activities await you! Or, just sit on the deck, watch the grass grow while the deer graze in the meadow. No matter what level of fun you choose, we invite you to make a wish and enjoy the simple pleasures of life on the Dandelion Farm.

Great home base for days of biking, hiking, and then back to the cottage to relax
The cottage is attractive and practical. We enjoyed the spaciousness, the view, and the good kitchen. It is very well equipped, although we did bring a sharp paring knife and chef’s knife, and we were glad we did. And I can’t say enough about how great these hosts are. Quick replies on everything. The one malfunction that occurred was fixed the same afternoon that we mentioned it. (Thanks again to both of you!) We really enjoyed our stay. We are glad we booked a few extra days so we could spend a couple days slowed down and enjoying relaxed time at the cottage. And a final detail - My husband is tall so we like to let people know when a queen bed works out well. The queen size bed in the front bedroom does not have a footboard and it has a really good mattress. No rolling off the edges or toward the center, so it was entirely comfortable for my husband (6’ 4”) and me (5’ 4”).

Great home base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula
I definitely recommend this property. The place was spotlessly clean and very well-stocked. For example this might sound weird but one of my pet peeves with a lot of rentals is that there are never enough places to hang up towels. This place had plenty of places to hang towels, and tons of hangers in the closets. There are grab bars in the shower, which is really nice if someone in the group has mobility challenges. The place has a very private feel even though you are just a minute or two from Port Angeles. After a busy day exploring, come back and chill out on the deck and watch the ships go by.

My husband Jim and I are thrilled to offer "The Dandelion Cottage" as a new vacation rental. Four years ago we purchased the Dandelion Farm, a 10.7 acre dream property with a 100 year old barn and multiple outbuildings and got to work!! We have orchards, berry fields, a huge garden and grass for days!! The Cottage itself sits on over five acres of grass overlooking Port Angeles and the harbor. We work the farm above from dusk til dawn while our Golden Retriever "Harley" runs about chasing tennis balls, or happily chewing up sticks. We have been blessed to have a long term tenant in the cottage for the past three years and now are offering it as a vacation rental.

Why they chose this property

This is our second vacation rental, we have been doing this for awhile! We have another property (an adorable cabin #247414) located at Lake Sutherland just 15 minutes west. We typically host guests in the summer months out there and have been rewarded to have so many travelers fall in love with "the lake life." Now we are on the farm as well! The Dandelion Cottage is special in and of itself. Even though we are in the City Limits and literally minutes from most activities, it feels like another planet up here. Serene, peaceful and surrounded by nature. On any given day, deer graze in our fields, chipmunks scurry about and eagles soar overhead. Come to relax and experience the "magic" at the Dandelion Farm.

Peace, serenity, views, abound on the Dandelion Farm. And only minutes from the gateway to the National Park, the Ferry to Victoria and all Port Angeles and the surrounding area has to offer.
