Stunning Whitewater View in West Molokai Kepuhi Resort

Bedrooms 1
Space 600 sq. ft.
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 4 nights

About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Enjoy the magic of old Hawaii as we found it in Molokai!

Sitting on the lanai, you can see and hear the waves crashing on Kalaka rock with a breathtaking view of Kepuhi Beach. The stunning three-mile expanse of Papahaku Beach is an easy walk for excellent shelling. Yours may be the only set of footprints in the sand! Lounge by the pool which offers overlooks of the surfing beach to your right and Kepuhi Beach on the left. Or chase green sea turtles while snorkeling... all within a short walk from your condo.

This newly renovated one-bedroom condo is located on the first floor and offers an open floor plan and modern kitchen. The kitchen includes a stainless steel food prep island, full-size oven, ceramic four-burner cooktop, full-size refrigerator, microwave, and is well-equipped for cooking and entertaining. This is not a kitchenette – slice and dice while watching the surf!

The romantic bedroom offers a Cal-King bed, mirrored wardrobe, ceiling fan, and island ambiance. The sound of the waves and the island breeze make this a wonderful retreat from the sun. A queen-sized sleeper accommodates a total of four guests (sleeper includes a new mattress recommended for children). A private washer and dryer are included for your convenience.

Connect your iPhone or iPod to the wired stereo system or browse a library of DVDs that is open for your enjoyment. The unit includes a 37" high-def TV loaded with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Included for your use are beach towels and mats.

The view of the ocean is superb! You can sit on the lanai for hours watching the waves crash on the rocks and roll up on the beach. Watch the sun set into the pacific without moving from your chair; either on the lanai or sitting inside on the sofa or dining room table. Do as much or as little as you please!

Our unit is #1134, a corner one-bedroom, very near parking and very quiet.

Perfect place for relaxing and rejuvenating

  • 5 of 5

Very comfortable and we'll equipped condo. Enjoyed having beautiful Papohaku Beach (the 2 mile beach) to ourselves. There is a unique and special peace that comes with Molokai. It is my husband's favorite place on earth.

Tranquil property away from the crowds of neighbouring islands

  • 4 of 5

If you're seeking down time to rejuvenate mind and body, head to Molokai. Stayed one week and leisurely explored most of the island. You will find a few grocery stores and a handful of eateries along with some interesting stores to pop into. Most beaches had zero to six people which we found to be refreshing. You will need a car to explore. This unit for two people was spacious and clean containing all essentials and more. A little outdated though but not a concern of ours. The cross section of breezes nicely cooled down the space. Looking for fresh fish to BBQ you won't find much in the stores, check the dive shop/gas station for daily fresh fish and poki. Not every day but they will let you know when they expect it so be there. Kumu Farms were great for produce. If you want nightlife, to be entertained always, looking for fine dining etc ... skip this island as your destination. For a true Hawaiian experience, Molokai is it and this unit/property we would stay at again in the future.

Needs updating, a cleaning, and some beach stuff

  • 3 of 5

We stayed here for 5 nights. When we first showed up, it didn't seem like the condo was properly cleaned, so I had to go in and at least clean the floors. It didn't help, because our feet were always so dirty when we walked around. We had to wear house slippers.

The first 1/2 hour I got attacked by mosquitos. I got bit about 5 times in that amount of time, so my husband and I had to go around the condo and go on a killing spree for at least the first 3 days. It was horrible.

The condo had no beach stuff whatsoever. That was a major bummer, since we were by some amazing beaches.

It felt like the condo was packed full of crap, it definitely needs some cleaning out and deep cleaning. It could use better pans, the fridge could use cleaning. It smelled really bad, and anything I touched in it made my hands smell and I had to go and wash them. The unit needs updating, as far as new windows and slider.

The bed was comfy, soft and nice. The view was pretty amazing as well. It had a washer and dryer that was exciting. I just feel next time we'd have to stay somewhere else and on a upper level, since you could hear the upstairs neighbors.

Owner's Response: Dear guest – we value your feedback and sincerely apologize for any inconveniences during your stay. We pride ourselves in providing an exceptional experience for all guests and have shared this feedback with the company that cleans the unit before each guest arrives. Molokai is a beautiful and natural place, which includes the island's characteristic red soil and some insect pests from time to time. We also strive to provide extra gear that can make a guest's stay more enjoyable, while balancing that with preventing clutter. We apologize if you did not find the specific items you desired and welcome any suggestions for the future.
