Beechmont is an early suburban neighborhood in South Louisville about 5 miles south of Downtown Louisville. Tree-lined Southern Parkway is home to some of Louisville's most beautiful estate homes. Our home is located about 3 miles from the University of Louisville, about 2 miles from Cardinal Stadium, home to the Football Cardinals and Jim Patterson Stadium, home to the baseball Cardinals. Beechmont is known for incredible ethnic food (Annie's, A Chau, Vietnam Kitchen), Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Iroquois Park, which features the delightful Iroquois Amphitheater and Iroquois Golf Course. Easy access to Old Louisville, Germantown, and Downtown provide additional dining (Best tacos in Louisville are located at El Molcajete at the corner of S. 4th & Heywood) and entertainment options. For Derby, however, you're going to want to be close to the track, and our home is 2 miles away. We're also 1.5 miles from the airport. One of the best coffee shops in Louisville (and rated by the New York Times as one of the best in the US) is 2 blocks away, and the Iroquois Library is on our street.
