-Each room features comfy KING SIZE LOG BEDS, and a private FULL SIZE BATH.
-After a long day of skiing, snowboarding or hiking around Glacier Park, you'll get the rest you need. You'll awaken feeling refreshed and ready for action!
-One of the 3 bedrooms is the larger MASTER SUITE, which has a larger bath, and an additional FUTON/BUNK for 2 small adults or 3 young children (sleeps 2-5 total).

-2 SOFA/SLEEPERS; one in the downstairs Den, another in the upstairs Living Room. Each sofa bed is suitable for 2 children or 1 adult (sleeps 4 total).

This home is owned by two families that reside in Whitefish, MT. The homeowners have had careers in both hospitality, and in the software and computer industries, respectfully. We originally purchased this property as a vacation home for ourselves and visiting family and friends. Soon after we purchased the home back in 2004, we began to rent the house out on a weekly basis, and often to some of our business associates. It remained that way and often times vacant until early 2007, when we listed it with HomeAway and VRBO. These two heavyweights were new to homeowner renting business, and we were excited to be a part of the new wave of the "rent by owner" explosion. We learned a lot during those early years. Late in 2007, when the economy/housing bubble burst, we were fortunate to have owned a home in a small northern Rockies ski town. Between the winter ski resort and Glacier Park, we were able to whether the storm by renting the home nightly. At the time, there weren't all that many short term rentals in the area, and because of the house's close proximity to town, the ski mountain, Whitefish Lake, and Glacier Park, we were able to weather the storm. Our guests were polite, respectful, decent folks who love nature and adventure, and we loved having them. So, we kept it going and in 2016 we celebrated 12 yrs in the nightly rental business. We enjoy updating and caring for the house, and it still provides a great place for all who stay here. Our primary hope... is that all of our guests will enjoy it's many comforts... just as much as we do. But... enough about us! When we were looking for a vacation home in Whitefish, we knew we'd found the perfect house. Definitely, the first thing we observed upon entering the home was... the views of Whitefish Lake, and the many mountains and homes that surround it! Then, it was the combined kitchen, dining, and living room areas, which seemed perfect for socializing, watching movies, entertaining, where everyone could spread out and be together without feeling cramped. A Great Location, Wonderful layout, simple design, large rooms, large upper and lower decks, were perfect for our needs. In a nutshell: Spacious Open Living Area. Light, bright, airy feeling. Perched on a bluff, the house feels a bit like living in a tree house, only larger! This house is charming, clean, and convenient. Providing many of the comforts necessary for active families, casual visitors, or the occasional business exec. We think the house provides a great way to experience Big Sky Country and the Montana lifestyle. We hope you will too!

Great for three couples
Well maintained property with views over Whitefish Lake. Three bedrooms with en suite facilities made the property ideal for our group of three couples exploring Glacier National Park and the Whitefish area together. The kitchen is well equipped, and between that and the grill on the deck it is easy to eat in and enjoy relaxing together and watching the sunset. The owner was always easy to contact and very helpful. Highly recommended!
This house is very comfortable and the owner very accommodating. There was a beautiful gift basket waiting for us upon our arrival. Whitefish is a nice little town with a quaint downtown area and we were close enough to Glacier to make the trip an easy ride. Our recommendation to the owner would be to let renters know there would not be laundry detergent or shampoo provided as we could have picked these up prior to our arrival and our experience with other vrbo houses has been that these are generally provided.
Booked the trip for husband and a couple friends to go fly fishing and golfing. Anna was wonderful to work with and everything went perfect from start to end!! The guys loved the house! So clean, Beds were super comfortable. Next time the wives go!! Highly recommend this place! Perfect location and views! Thanks again!!
Fantastic porch and grill for winding down at the end of the day!
We stayed for a week and used the house as a point between hiking and sightseeing in Glacier National Park, Brewries in Whitefish, and fishing for lake trout on Flathead Lake! Beds were super comfortable and having a full bath in each room was a huge plus. Evenings were perfect for cooking meals on the grill and having dinner and wine on the beautiful porch with views of Whitefish Lake!!! Fantastic experience!!!!
good clean property and close to all areas of interest
this was one of the cleanests homes we have stayed in over the past seven years.anna was a great host told us places to go and places to eat we had bathrooms with nice towels lots of them and toilet tissue and soap for us kitchen had all we needed grill on deck looked new we did not use as we were on the go from morning to night we would surely rent this home if we are in this area again henry guinn (Houston tx.) stayed 07/12/17-07/23/17 thanks again anna

Great location & close to everything; Airport, Glacier Park, Lakes, Ski Resorts, Spas, Fitness, Restaurants, hiking, swimming, skiing, boating, fishing, you name it! Whitefish has it all! After a day of fun, hiking or sight seeing...head downtown for a glass of wine, a good brew, and a great meal. There are plenty of nice folks, great entertainment and dancing. Kick your heels up folks, and 'Welcome to Stumptown' ya'll!
