This end unit townhouse is very quiet and tastefully decorated...the color scheme is totally in tune with the beach. Because it is the only end unit, glass blocks located high on the outer wall of every room on both floors that offers natural light giving you a warm, open, and airy feeling though out this town home. Large patio doors from the main living area and the master bedroom lead to a private covered porch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and a beautiful beach. Drink your first cup of coffee in the morning as the sunrises and enjoy your last favorite drink watching a moon-lite ocean. If you need some quiet time, this unit is the only one that has a third covered porch in the front on the main floor with a private access for those who want to read a good book or just relax. All three porches have very comfortable chairs and ceiling fans in case the ocean breeze is simply not enough for you.

If you're into grilling out, there is a gas grill provided here for you as well.

Relax and enjoy the beach, try your luck at the nearby fishing pier, or take a 20 minutes drive to historical Charleston with its many fine restaurants, historical sites, gardens, and forts. Shops and Malls in nearby West Ashley. Public boat ramp with parking less than one mile. Golf course is less than ten minutes on nearby James Island. Other famous golf courses nearby. Folly is the perfect beach for all ages.

Thank you and the owners of that beautiful townhome we stayed in at Folly Beach for making our trip a wonderful experience. It was beautifully furnished and decorated and it was perfect for our family to stay in. We enjoyed being right on the beach and yet so close to Charleston. We took the short drive to Charleston a couple of times to enjoy activities downtown. We also took a dinner cruise in the bay from Patriot's Point. The Folly Beach location was very convenient to all that Charleston has to offer and we had a wonderful time with many great memories. We had one rainy day and the grandchildren enjoyed staying in and playing some of the many games that were so graciously provided. We would certainly love to stay in the townhome if we ever get the opportunity to visit Charleston again in the future.

In closing, we want to thank you both for being so easy and accommodating to work with. It was overall a very positive experience.

I have been meaning to sit down and jot you a few lines about how wonderful our visit was to Folley Beach and the Ocean Pointe Condos.

The houses and location was just perfect. We had a fantastic time. I do wish I would have sprung for the 3rd house as we had 2 full houses but it all worked out. There was only a few nights when everyone was there.

We will be renting 107 for a week in May and both units for a week in July. I will let you know in the next few weeks and check availability with you as soon as I know our plans.

Like I said, these units were fantastic. I really enjoyed the location to the city. We walked for coffee at the fabulous "black Magic" every morning and had happy hour at the "taco boy" every evening. We ate out one night at the "sand bar" (walked there and back) and even went into Charleston in no time at all to enjoy the flavor of the city. I had vacation depression when I returned to Texas!

Thanks for helping me make such a great decision - which as you know I was doing blindly!

Love, love, love this is now our annual summer retreat!!

We stay at this property every summer and LOVE it!! Ideal location to the beach and downtown Folly. Great patio/deck to sit and watch the ocean in the mornings/evenings. Love the layout of the condo...allows for everyone to have some private time/space and then come together for meals/games. Would highly recommend this condo!

Awesome Condo!

This is a fantastic condo in a fantastic location. It is beautifully furnished, well-appointed, and quiet. The view of the ocean dolphins every morning was the perfect start to each day and town was a short walk away. I cannot stress how great a layout this was for our family. The teens could do their own thing without keeping the parents awake which always makes for a great vacation. We would definitely return to this property. As for the owner, Michael is very easy to work with and reach in case there is an issue. (We had about a 10 minute wireless issue which he quickly walked us through.) Highly recommend Snapper Jack's roof top bar for happy hour and Taco Boy for some casual grub. We can't wait to get back!

Beautiful and comfortably close to the beach.

My family and I enjoyed the spacious condo. Everyone had their own private space to retire to in the evening. The property is beautiful and it is a quick walk to the beach. We are all in agreement to reserve this condo again when we return to Charleston.

Great week at the beach!

My family and I spent a week in late April at the condo. For 5 adults, this is a great spot! The view from the living room and master bedroom is fantastic. It was so nice falling asleep to the ocean each night. Easy access to get on the beach, no more than a 2 minute walk. Also a short 5 minute walk into the center of Folly Beach to enjoy restaurants, stores ect. The house is well kept and all the amenities that were provided made for a terrific stay. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

Nice oceanfront property with a good layout

Located a couple blocks from the main street, this is in a great spot and has a nice layout for a group of 6-8 adults. Nice patio with ocean views in a quiet neighborhood. Very well kept and nice furnishings throughout. When booking, owner was a bit difficult to reach and communicate with -- we were interested in renting 2 units he manages in the same complex but were only able to confirm 1 of the 2 units, so there was a bit of uncertainty and lack of communication as to his reason for declining the second. Ultimately everything worked out and we got both units, but this is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Owner's Response: Hello Rohit, I couldn't agree more with you about the issues with communications. I will take it on the chin.........BUT, I have to tell you (and others) that VRBO/HomeAway have recently made a lot of changes that enhance the booking process. However, it became a learning process for me (and I assume other owners & managers) to learn the "new method" of processing request, fees, dates and then the actual booking. And all of this during the busiest time for booking in our area. I hope that once we worked through all the kinks, you found me a bit more responsive. Again, thanks for staying with us and we hope to have you stay again. Michael

Pretty Ocean View Condo!

This condo was a great choice for our family of 5 adults...and would be good for kids, too.

The condo is walking distance to downtown, but still quiet!

There is a quiet one-way street to cross, but the access walkway to the ocean is only about 25-30 feet away.

The ocean view from the main balcony and upstairs bedroom balcony were perfect! Our best part of our visit was sitting there and enjoying the pelicans that continuously flew by!

Clean and comfortable condo and a pretty well stocked kitchen with all appliances you would need and some herbs/spices/oil/s&p, etc. We did a big grocery shopping before we showed up, and realized we forgot coffee. Fortunately, there was a huge container of coffee available! We payed it forward... leaving some beers, hummus, chips and anything else that was not opened. :) Hopefully the next guests enjoyed it!

Love that each of the 3 bedrooms had a bathroom. Rooms were clean and beds comfy! Plenty of bath towels and about 6 beach towels available.

We ate at Loggerhead's, St. James Gate and brought in from Rita's Seaside Grill (try the salmon) and Woody's Pizza (order early, can take an hour for pick up)

Tip: Order take out instead...pick it up and enjoy it on that beautiful balcony!

Charleston and area: Visit Magnolia Plantation! Get there early...They open at 8 and begin tours at 9. (You have options for different tours...we purchased 3 tours, but could only stay for 2...They will reimburse you at the admin office for unused tkts.)

Visit Patriot's Point for lunch and board the USS was really cool! So was the Vietnam experience exhibit there. We took a horse carriage ride in Charleston...our 'ping pong ball lottery' brought us north, but it was still a nice hour tour. We took a sunset schooner 2 hour cruise which left from the aquarium area. Bring your own snacks and purchase drinks on board.

The 'kids' took an UBER in to Charleston for dinner and partying...they had a great time!

When you get to Folly, take a car ride to both ends of the island to get a feel for the area...I wish I did this earlier. You can park and walk to the lighthouse at the east end. (Or bike to it!)

So, that is it! I hope my review is helpful! The condo was perfect so we would come stay again!

P.S. Careful walking around sidewalks and streets are often narrow.
