Logger’s Run is the premiere location at Snowshoe. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 baths and we can comfortably sleep 12-14. It is located Slope side on green friendly Upper Flume. This is a true ski in/ski out, bike in/bike out location. Our home is beautifully appointed.

About Marc Monroe

Why Ski Bum? Why not a ski bum! I have been on skis since the 60’s. I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Finance and Economics and did what any respectable college student would do, I got a job… In Aspen…on the mountain. Once I moved on, I think I continually strived to get back to the mountains. I got to ski from time to time but it wasn’t enough! So now I have become what I wanted to become, a Ski Bum! Call me a bum. I’ll take it as a complement!

Why Marc Monroe chose West Virginia

My wife and I fell in love with Logger’s in its preconstruction phase. We would come up every week to talk to the workers and contractors in the construction phase. I always brought them beer (for the end of their shift). I took care of them so they would take care of me. We had the choice of many of the first 8 and chose this one; number 23, the same day Francie was born! It has all of the key ingredients we wanted. Francie and I enjoy the fact that when you arrive at our home at Logger’s you really don’t need to get back in the car until you are ready to leave. We have spent 5 of the last 6 Christmas here at Logger’s. We have a family tradition of family “get together’s” and this is the most fun place to get together! We hope that you build a tradition of “get togethers” at our home Logger’s Run 23!

What makes your stay here special is that the moment you arrive, you know you will be staying at someone’s home and not just a rental property. The atmosphere is of a log cabin built and decorated with love!

Excellent stay, we love Loggers Run!

This was our second time staying at Loggers Run and we love the convenience and ease of the ski in/out here! Just a few steps away and you're skiing, it couldn't be any better! Marc was wonderful to deal with and the house was well stocked and just like we expected. The hot tub is an excellent added bonus after a long day of skiing! Shuttle service was wonderful as well which is just a short walk down the road from here. Perfect to hop on and hit Silvercreek for night skiing! We are already looking forward to coming back! Thanks for opening up your place to us Marc!

Well equipped, clean and close to slopes. Great place for a large group of family reunion

Loved it. Only downside is parking, immediate parking not adequate for large groups or big vehicles. We got around the issue by parking some cars in main parking lot.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the kind words. Yes a Holiday weekend is a challenge for parking. Our home like others has 2 parking spots. Check in instructions instruct all guests that if they have more cars to park, then park them at Top of the World which is maybe a 2 block walk away

Perfect spot, for a perfect trip!

We loved it!

I've never had a more convenient location or a more hospitable host!

All of the information was shared clearly and before I knew I wanted it.

Because of the location, we stopped in to the house for all our meals and even a few extra breaks from the trail.

The shuttle for night skiing was also super convenient, dropping us right outside of the front door.

A few from our group had to get rentals and it was a short walk up to where Marc had given us a discount, and they were able to ski right back to the house!

We can't wait to come back; it was the perfect spot, for the perfect trip!

Great rental at Snowshoe

We had a group of 12 (10 adults, 2 kids) staying at Logger's Run 23. The location was perfect - ski in/ski out with an extremely short walk to the slopes (out the back door, walk about 10 yards, down flight of steps and we were on the slopes). Plenty of room in the garage for a minivan, skis, snowboards, empty coolers etc. The kitchen was very well equipped and the hot tub was fantastic. The key codes to enter the house were really handy - no need to worry about who had a key, or keys getting lost. Parking is limited to 2 cars, and we had 6 cars in our group, so we moved our extra cars up to the general parking lot at the Top of World , which is about a 5 minute walk along a paved path. We took the shuttle bus to Silver Creek for night skiing, and the stop is about 20 yards out the front door - super convenient. We have rented many different units at Snowshoe over the years, and this place is at the top of our list. We will definitely be back.

Awesome!!

Over Spring Break, we took the kids for a late season ski vacation week. There were 3 families total sharing the town home. This property suited our needs perfectly. From the easy to find location, to the shuttle service, to the slopes, we all had an amazing time. This is one of the only true ski in/out locations at the resort. There is plenty of room for storing everyone's equipment, then it's out the back door for a 50 foot walk to a beautiful green slope. This slope takes you anywhere on the mountain that you want to go.

After skiing, we all relaxed in the hot tub and living area....cooking family dinners in the well equipped kitchen and relaxing by the fire.

I will stay at this location every time I go.

Amazing!

This property is truly amazing. You walk down a flight of stairs and you are at the slopes. We had no problem coming back for lunch quickly, and without lugging all the equipment. We had 14 guests and everyone slept comfortably. There is a large table so we could all eat together too! The hot tub over looks the runs. We could not have asked for better weather, or a better host. The only Downfall was that we somehow misplaced one of our friends keys, and we could not find them on Sunday by check out. Marc ( the owner of the condo) was so helpful and understanding of our situation. Outstanding customer service, and Anazing place.
