Great cozy cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed two nights. Owner was very accommodating and responsive. Great location, 5-7 minute walking distance to shops and Heavenly Mountain Resort. We used the BBQ grill and watched the fireworks (Labor Day) from the front porch. The cabin has everything two people might need for a quick trip. We used the maps they had in the little cute office room they had to plan our biking trip. We loved the cabin and would recommend it to others.

Cute and convenient- but no visitors

  • 4 of 5

Really cute cabin in a great location close to everything . It was very clean and spacious- very cozy. Overall pleasant place to stay. My only complaint is that apparently no visitors allowed - which should have been specified in the contract. My family came by late morning to bring us food and a few minutes later the property manager asked them to leave. Postings within the property only mentioned overnight occupancy but nothing about guests/visitors.

Great quiet cabin for an enjoyable getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Hubby and I stayed in cabin B for the weekend while the celebrity golf tournament was being held at Edgewood. First -- WAY cheaper than the casinos on a busy weekend, so that was a big plus. Second -- WAY quieter than staying at a hotel right on the highway or in one of the casinos. Loved it. It's tucked back just off Hwy 50 and Pioneer Trail, so you don't get the traffic going through. It's private and has all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus and the perfect end to a long day of walking all over Edgewood. The loft bedroom and spiral staircase is adorable, albeit not for anyone too tall (or wide), but just watch your head and you'll be fine. :-)

My only warning for future guests is to watch out for the sap from the trees on your car. The parking area is surrounded by trees, so there's not really a way to totally avoid it. Just watch out when you grab your door that you don't stick your hand in that stuff -- it's pretty gnarly to remove. (Maybe the owners might invest in a carport cover, if it's worth it!) :-)

All in all, we were very happy and would recommend the place to others.

Perfect for Two Skiers

  • 5 of 5

This was our 4th year staying at South Lake Tahoe. We've been staying at a resort but decided to try a cabin this year. This cabin had all the conveniences of home including privacy. It is a short walk to shuttle buses, shopping, restaurants, casinos, you name it. The hot tub was really nice after a day on the slopes. We have found our new winter get away and would recommend it to others.

Perfect Budget Getaway for Two

  • 5 of 5

We looked at several properties online before choosing to stay at Primrose Cabins and decided to stay here after speaking with the delightful owner. Our stay was wonderful and exactly as the listing described! The rental was exceptionally clean with plenty of fluffy towels and a comfy duvet. Everything in the cabin was in working order including the outdoor hot tub that was comfortable and exceptionally clean. For the price, we were impressed to find internet access, cable tv including free on-demand movies, flashlights around the home, and complimentary toiletries. We easily walked to the Gondola, shops, hiking trails, and the casinos. We had a couple of questions during our stay, and the owner was immediately available by phone and happy to help. Although the cabin is conveniently located to Stateline, the neighborhood was a bit sketchy in some parts. We will definately stay here again and reccommend it to friends.
